I was there and there were not 42,000 in the stadium.

Looked every bit of 42,000 to me. Every year the game after Thanksgiving draws poorly. What's the big deal? Our attendance this season has been fantastic. Just as it will next season.

All that it says is no students on campus. Not shocking that stadium wasn't full. Student Section doesn't fill up usually till 2Q during most sell outs. Given the lack of support by the millennials, I doubt they would have showed up even if 10-0 on Saturday.

Take it up with the computer that counts the crowd from the actually scanned tickets as you enter.

If they let Pitt count the crowd, it would have been 85,000!

M ighty defense throttled Georgia Southern, 44-0

O utstanding defense obliterated Liberty, 41-17

U nilaterally decimated Maryland, 45-6, on defense and offense

N oxious offense & special teams against Oklahoma, 44-24

T urnovers lose to Oklahoma State, 33-26 in OT despite impressive comeback from 15-point deficit.

A wesome Baylor too much, 62-38.

I ncinerated by TCU, 40-10. Way too many mistakes, penalties, dropped passes.

N ifty rushing, defense take down Texas Tech, 31-26

E xcellent turnovers by defense against Texas, 38-20

E rectile dysfunctioned Kansas, 49-0

R emarkable defense skewered Iowa State, 30-6

Let’s look at the record:

2014 average home attendance for D-1 FBS schools: 44,190

Iowa State-WVU attendance: 44,446

Only Texas and Oklahoma average larger crowds than Mountaineer Field this season.

Go beat on another drum.

WVU fans pretend they are a major program deserving of something great.

Not showing up to games unless its a top 15 opponent screams mid major--which much of the fanbase and students definitely are. The students in particular remind one of a mac school where a small portion turnout until halftime and then leave to get drunk.

Come on everyone, my grandson (a WVU soph.)was in on break. He said he would have gone back for a night game but he had cousins in he hadn't seen in months. We had a great time watching the game and playing football in the front yard and BB in the drive way.
Is that wrong to be with family?
