Hampton watching Tre's next move-

Look like we’re in a win win situation here. Either we will have Tre or RJ Hampton. Not many teams have that luxury. We’re blessed
If we run a different offense next year, I want Tre..... If we’re sticking to eliminating the idea of positions gimme Hampton.
Perfect world? A better shooting Tre next year and RJ the year after.

watching UVA play a 3 guard offense to good effect...I say AND...because AND is better....why cant they play together?
They could but don't sound like RJ wants too...so it won't happen
Hampton would be nice no doubt, however, Tre is a Blue Devil through and through, loves his team, his school, and is everything we could want in a PG. If he stays and develops a jumper in the off season then he will be an absolute terror next year on both ends, so if we gotta pick, give me Tre 100 times out of 10.
Tre. He’ll be experienced and he will be better. A better Cassius Winston. We just have to make sure we let him control the ball and not pass them go to the corner. We will have more shooters and space for him next year
Exactly my thought...but maybe that says something about Hampton, maybe not a share the limelight kind of guy...I have no idea but to not come to Duke because someone else is still there says something....better together would be an awesome combination
Well if RJ is indeed waiting to see what Tre does it kinda means to me he wouldn't want to share the court with him...and that's why IMO we can't and won't have both
Whatever Hampton does, I'd love for Tre to be back. I think his experience, age, improved physicality, knowledge of the offense and defense, will add great leadership.
Rejean Boogie Ellis has some quality scoring ability and a good shot. If he comes on well that would make a great backcourt with him as the 2 guard and if White can shoot the entire year and O'Connell develops some physically and a more consistent shot - we could be in much better shape shooting wise.

I would prefer Lewis from Bama + Tre....that is a great back court with experience and scoring...
Maybe but waivers are being given for a lot of similar situations..either way, i'd take lewis over Hampton, for experience and proven ability
Duke would be better off with Kira Lewis than Hampton. I remember Lewis for Alabama, he fits Duke very good in every phase..
