Well boys. Didn't learn a whole lot tonight other than Trent Noah is much stronger looking and somehow a better shooter. And we have makers. Oh, and CC is HIM.
Wall is a true Cat. He’s old school, always loved us and came back every year. My favorite Cal player for sure and that’s a tough one because I love Monk, Ulis, Fox, Bam, Oscar so much.

Wall isn’t stupid. And this is why players turning down UK is just dumb at the end of the day. You’re famous for life here. Why throw that away, especially if you’re one of the beloved like Wall, to simply stroke Cals ego. Wall has already given Cal enough, he gave him a decades worth of ammo to make 100 million dollars for his family. Wall didn’t need Calipari.
Wall isn’t about to throw away hundreds of thousands of fans who consider him family to prove a point for Calipari. It’s sad that a guy like Wall, who was here 1 year 15 years ago and isn’t from Kentucky, understands this but Reed Sheppard didn’t. I’ll give some grace due to age so we’ll see if Reed ever speaks to it when Calipari is gone and apologizes.
I’d bet a months salary that Wall has absolutely told cousins not to do it too. Cousins clearly had some thoughts of it and hasn’t pulled the trigger.
Reed didn’t receive the love like Wall did. He didn’t do anything special. Had one of the worst tournament losses in Kentucky history. I can see why Reed wanted to get back a little at the ol fans but it wasn’t our fault. He got paid tho. J Wall understands for sure.

He (Jordan Smith) is from Harlan Co. same as Noah and won (I think) one of those big TV signing contests a few years back.
