Grievance: My wife, bless her heart, is incapable of answering a yes/no question with “Yes” or “No.”

Grievance from my wife: We’ve had our new kitchen for three ******* years and my husband the math PhD still doesn’t know how to turn on/off the oven or the dishwasher.

My god, same thing on your grievance!!!!! I asked her a question two days ago and I had to answer ten questions in return. My oldest daughter finally said, “Why don’t you just answer his question?!?!” It is maddening. Alas, I love her and I deal with it but there are moments when I just want to hear yes or no.
