Took my wife and kids to this 9 days ago, and it was fantastic. Nothing screams “America” like the stock show. Highly recommend it.

Also took my son to Rockies Fest on Sunday. Didn’t see the same chaos downtown that was a regular issue in recent years.

Side note - didn’t have a single person rush up to our car to wash the windshield. Small signs that the city is healing.

Could the weather have deterred some of the regular problems temporarily or do you think this is permanent?

I think it’s pretty permanent. We have had an incredibly mild winter. Only 13” of snow (bad for ski resorts), we have weeds growing and birds chirping.

A lot of the spots where I regularly saw teen-20s men hanging around have been cleared out. Definitely seems more safe.

Denver had less than 40 murders in 2025, which would have seemed crazy a couple years ago.

Still have issues with judges letting people go for serious crimes. Just have to declare mental incompetency.

The “they are here to work our farms” argument should be dead. Biden/Harris flew in criminals, just as predicted.

I saw an article about that. They had insider help at US Banc Corp (don’t quote me on the really big bank) in order to get that job done.

I am guessing he is worried about the Somali fraud investigation. It is just a guess, but why cooperate with ICE now?
Just speculation, but I think initially the chaos was encouraged in the hope it would be a distraction from the widespread fraud which would not have been possible without, at minimum, culpable negligence on the part of the state government. But once the Signals penetration happened, I think it was clear that the rioting was not organic and spontaneous, and if some reports are correct, gov't officials were involved with the Signals coordination/organization. Toes were much closer to the line demarcating the I-word than any other events in say the last 6 years. So I think it was a "Cut the crap, or else," sort of conversation, and Walz does not strike me as a man brave enough to face the "or else".

How does Belichik not get in on first ballot? Whoever the voters are, some need to be replaced. No common sense.

I guess it is a secret ballot so people who don't like him can vote their preference regardless of his qualifications. He should/will make it next time.

ps. with a little more research, the Hall of Fame choses the 50 voters. The vast majority they choose are NFL sports reporters, plus some former hall of fame members and some "historians" - no current players or NFL team employees. I couldn't find anything on the mix so apparently it is up to the Hall of Fame. Also, they have to include one person geographically from each NFL city. Finally, it is important to note that who the voters are is not secret; how they voted is secret. Many of the voters are the same voters for decades.

I’m sure many deranged regulars on this board believe it was totally real.

Interesting. Without video and explanation
I may could believe something like that happened, but unlike the other side, I wouldn’t have cheered the behavior. I also would expect that person to be prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law.

Totally fake. Something you stage after you have fraudulently accumulated 40,000,000 on a salary less than 200k in 8 years.

You don’t go at a sudden attacker (unless the gun fails to fire Ala Andrew Jackson). You also run to a sink to wash off “unknown” liquid.

She needs to be permanently exiled.

He will have to get in based on his SB wins. I am guessing the hesitation comes in when you see what his teams have accomplished when they didn't have Tom Brady on them.

Overall NFL head coaching record without Brady: Approximately 83-104 (regular season and playoffs combined)

He was 4-8 in his only HCing role in college.

That is pretty ugly for a HOF coach. I still believe he will get in at some point.

Gingrich saying this is a great example of why the Republican Party, despite having better ideas than the Democrats, is in general an organization full of losers. 75% of Americans want them gone. Gone!

I am guessing that person will disappear without prosecution.

Yes. He will get in at some point. I don’t know of any team that has won more than 1 Super Bowl that didn’t have a franchise QB. Green Bay needed Bart Starr to win the first 2 Super Bowls. As soon as Starr retired, Green Bay sucked for decades. Lombardi is in the HoF. He was a great coach. One of the brilliant things Belichik did was constantly evaluate his defense based upon his personnel. He would change it in the middle of the season, if needed. He also adapted to metrics. He clearly belongs. I have read a report that Pullian worked behind the scenes to keep him from entering the HoF. What a bunch of soy boys. Look at the young piece of *** he’s getting right now. That’s HoF worthy in and of itself.:ROFLMAO:

It appears that he has been an NFL head coach for 29 years. He won 6 titles which is greater than 20 percent of the Super Bowls played in his time. Like Eli Manning who won 2 Super Bowls, nothing else matters in his career.

The voters are a woke joke. BB supports Trump, he doesn't get in the Hall of Fame. Same thing with Curt Schilling - he is a Trump supporter and can't get in the Hall of Fame.

Mike Tomlin is a no doubt first ballot HOF with his single super bowl title.

Based upon what TJ has posted, this was clearly a smollett. All that was missing was the leftist attacker (actor) yelling “this is MAGA country!” If police weren’t involved, this is just a stunt. Yep. No one is prosecuting that nonsense. LOL. Very poorly acted.
