Anyone watching? No wonder the coaches think players are better off in the program under their supervision.

These two teams are taking it very seriously and I suspect what NU was doing with their players isn’t too far off.

Always a good watch, a little more intrigue this year.

“I love his balls”...

“You just said, you love his balls man”

“he throws a good ball man, you know”

“But you just said”...

Back to the original post, yeah they are taking of their guys very well. Just like Nebraska has been and will do. There’s a lot of reasons why medically it’s actually better for some to play football. You give the USA that kind medical observation and why’d be done with COVID already.

Per Barry Alvarez, the B1G has allocated 20 practice hours a week for the team for the fall.

I would imagine then, that all student athletes would remain under the watchful eye of athletic department medical staff. Frost and company won't have to worry too much about them getting medical care out of a white van in Miami-Dade county.

Yah Nebraska's been a real leader on getting ahead of the protocol and stuff. We haven't spared any expense.

that’s assuming players stick around. Why would many of them? transfer portal going to be massive

And further more, how you going to sit there and say let’s shut down football for the students health but let’s still practice?!?! Huh?!?!

Does practice have the same fairy dusk that protests have but actually games don’t?

we talking about practice. Not a game. Practice

Transfers will be impactful, but how many teams do you know in the SEC, land of oversigning 5 star players, who have a bunch of schollies to give out to say 280 B1G players? (that's 20 defections per team).

Only the best will consider it, and many of them will opt to train for the NFL. Lot of guys even if they transfer, won't make a depth chart this season anyway.

Its not like NU is going to take the field next fall with Mark Pelini and yet another Cotton.

why risk any medical injury on just practice. A kid could blow an ACL. Too many bumps and bruises come from “just practice”. Or what are they going to simulate football 20 hours a week? Seems sort of a waste of everyone’s time and doesn’t stop the risk of Covid

Will not be a preseason practice model, but will instead be more like "enhanced training" of July (walk-thrus, film, etc)
