Hard to argue against the chicken curse

Meh, the chicken curse is exemplified by a superior team inexplicably losing to a far inferior opponent. I agree this team played "out of their minds" today but that only underscores how badly they suck. When you only have half a team, you don't need a curse to help you lose games.

Chicken Curse reared its ugly head by getting Beamer to retain Teasley. It hasn't had to do anything else since then.

Absolutely has to be. All world QB fumbles at end of game to allow Bama to pull out a win from the jaws of defeat.

I'm 62 years old. It's real.

John Roche turns his ankle against Wake Forest in the ACC Tournament. We lose the title game to NC State. Back then, you had to win your conference tournament to make the NCAA's. That team could have won it all. Killer.

1984. Our football team is ranked #2 and about to play at Navy. We are highly favored. Earlier that day, Oklahoma beat #1 Nebraska. A win by us, followed by a win the next week at Clemson (which we won), and we play for the national championship. Navy whips our ***. Killer.

I just don't understand why we used our quarterback as a running back in those final plays. I know he had some success running the ball, but you also want to protect your quarterback. Running backs are there to make those kinds of plays.

Tbh, he is probably our best running back, right? Plus, you get the extra blocker.

I don’t necessarily agree or disagree with Sellers or Beamer running the QB, was a deal where a huge defensive player rips the ball away in A massive pile up. They thought worst case scenario he doesn’t get it and then worst case they would punt it away with less than 2 minutes left.

I didn’t get to see much of the game but saw Bama’s final drive. wonder why up the middle at all, beings they are rarely successful at all running up the middle. We’re they successful doing that more than usual yesterday? If you just trying to get in FG range that call still doesn’t make sense, with this offense.

Or was the intent to play for OT? If they were just trying to get out of regulation…never play not to lose, you almost always lose. That’s usually not how Beamer does it. He’s usually more of a risk taker, more so than most want him to be.

There’s a few things about the end of that game that just doesn’t make sense.
