Can't say I'm shocked by this....

"One relationship Blackmon has closed the book on, however, is with St. Laurence football advisor Frank Lenti, the former Mount Carmel coach.
If you recall, Lenti was hired by St. Laurence in 2018 after he was unceremoniously fired by Mount Carmel following a remarkable 33-year career and 11 state championships.
There was considerable speculation at the time that Lenti was hired to eventually replace Blackmon.
That didn’t happen. St. Laurence replaced Blackmon with Adam Nissen, who coincidentally was on Lenti’s staff at Mount Carmel.
“I defended Frank to my parents, to the media, and I befriended him when I brought him in,” Blackmon said. “In the end, none of that mattered to him. In the month before I was let go, I texted him twice and he never responded. Then the day I was let go, he calls me and tries to compare my situation to when he was fired.
“It’s always about Frank. He was a giant to me when I brought him on and now he’s the smallest person in the world to me.”
So what does Lenti think? He didn’t respond to a voice message or text.
What matters now is that hiring Blackmon is a good thing for Oak Lawn, and life moves on like that sometimes."
