Maybe RUMBB's getting Ron Harper Jr to commit might help RU's WBB program
His mother is the founder and HC of Ring City basketball and might have Ring City players look RU's way more since her son will be/is a member of the RU MBB team.
I believe Ring City is mainly for pre HS, but the kids in program hearing good things about RU WBB might make it easier to recruit HS talent that were in the Ring program under Maria Harper's guidance .
