Understandable why each of their draft stock was worse leaving UNC than when they first arrived.

Yeah it does. He was a good college player, but Kyle coming back killed any chance Duke had at all and I’m glad we had Kyle.

There were already indicators he’d come back. Plus Harrison was playing Duke anyway.
Carrick Felix picked Duke in the spring of 2010 under the assumption that Singler was going pro and then backed out when Singler decided to stay. Barnes may have been playing Duke--opinions differ-but Singler and Barnes absolutely could have played together and Singler's status did not factor into Barnes' decision.
Plan was to play them together with Nolan and Kyrie. Kyrie and HB were tight. It was a brutal day when he Skyped for Unc.
