Every time I see a clip of Giles, all I can see on the sidelines (if there are fans there) are Cameron Crazies?!
It just seems to be a match made in Heaven. To me, Giles has, and always has had, that Duke look, just sayin' Can't wait for his "Halloween week-end visit - Booooooooooooooooom!!

If you mean just how all non UK college basketball fans said the same thing about John Calapari then yes, I agree.
Roy has been recruiting OAD players as long as any other coach out there. He just has not been as successful landing them or when he gets one, ensuring that player get to the NBA quickly. Look at who Roy has recruited over the years I am willing to bet that many of the guys who went o other places ended up spending one year in college. Duke's 3 oad guys last season were all recruited by Roy. (Tyus, Oak and Winslow)
Kids do crazy stuff for crazy reasons. I just don't like how some boards all talk like he's already committed here. Damn, I post at another board and you'd think we already carved his name into his own locker. I want him here and bad. But it's not over yet that's for sure.

You can be pessimistic all you'd like, that is your right. The thing that is different is that Show is saying he thinks we don't get him b/c Giles will go somewhere else for the reason that everyone is saying he's going to Duke.....which is a crazy statement. He's not going to be swayed by what some people on message boards or recruiting gurus on the circuit are predicting him to do- he's going to do his own thing.

I understand his view; the Barnes thing really screwed with a lot of us. I do think Giles goes to Duke, but part of me is still very hesitant, mostly because of Prince Harry Barnes.
Denn, Dj, not even worked up about what you two think is going on here. He simply made a big deal about the fact I jested a bit about so many people saying we have him locked up he goes elsewhere. He jumped all over it. It's like me saying 'Wow its really hot today I'm burning up." and him replying with "Well , it may be hot but technically you're not really burning". Settle down, I'm not picking any fights here.
UNC could very well miss on 4 in-state 5-star recruits. Talk about a punch to the gut.
If a Duke blue clad Giles is dunking on big Luke Maye in 2017, it will feel like a punch to the tadpole. I hope it lingers too.
I get that. I tend not too say too much about the vibes going on with recruits. Even wen I am almost positive someone (Tyus Jones) is coming to Duke well ahead of his announcement. I wish others would keep some of the over confidence away as well. I think in this case however Duke has a decent shot. I will not say it is done by any stretch. I am hopeful of a good outcome and if it doesnt happen.....oh well.
