Not sure I can remember a time that we are not a blip on the radar in Football, Baseball & Basketball.

We have always had a decent baseball team.

Ray has ended that. Amazing since he was our best baseball coach ever.

The best I can come up with would be the late 90s, but there aren't any terrible years in all three sports at the same time. Football and basketball have some pretty bad seasons, but baseball only has one losing season in that stretch.

It would seem we're in the middle of one of the poorest stretches in school history, which is saying a lot.

Everybody knows Tanner has been a complete disaster…well everybody but the board of trustees. You could not have much more of a losing culture. The only program winning is coached by a person who could not be more Woke. Tanner is probably the same. Again, just compare the culture to our neighbors in the Upstate.

The Tanner era will not be fondly remembered. I hope we go outside the current office for his replacement.
Tanner being here is a testament to the ineptness of the administration. How does someone like this keep his job.

The only possible reason Tanner still has a job has to be because those above him do not think winning is necessary.

He is good at raising money for the athletic department from large donors, as well as getting the legislature to increase our cap on athletic department debt financing to build shiny new things.....that is the main reason. At that, he is very, very good and will, more than likely, keep him in that position until his contract expires within a couple of years.

I’m glad that you’re still happy with him. Good for you.
