Has there ever been a time when we had this many 4 star recruits?

I looked at the commitment list this morning and was very happy with the number of 4 start players.

I skimmed the "other site"'s recruiting history for UofL which appears to go back to 2002. Don't shoot me if I missed one, but the best historical classes I saw were:

2011 - 4 4-stars
2018 - 4 4-stars

A few classes had 3 4-stars. Most had 0-2.

Our incoming class was listed with 4 4-star freshmen, with 3 4-stars transferring in, if I read it correctly. 7 total 4-stars.

I think NIL has been good for UofL football recruiting so far.

It’s unbelievable considering all the conference movement that Louisville is recruiting this well. My question are these verbals or already inked?

This is why everyone is saying this is a make or break year for Satterfield. I will take it a step further this could be the most important year in the short history of Louisville football. A great year could open the flood gates a bad year could set it back 5-10 years because of the realignment factor.

It is a huge year for football.

Once again Cycle, you stated it well. If we win 7 games, I expect this remarkable recruiting class will remain largely intact. 6 wins and it becomes a bit more of a challenge, and with less than 6 wins and it will require the staff to do some serious begging to salvage the class.

Conversely, an 8 win season, and there may be even a few more 4 Star kids joining this class.

Things run in cycles some cycles are longer than others. This year is an opportunity to turn the cycle. Let face it some negative cycles are hard to break.
