Wish him luck. Always had that explosive speed but every time you think he’d worked his way into starting lineup, he would fumble.
Not sure I've seen a kid fumble that often. He's a gifted athlete. Maybe he should look into track and field.

Not good for depth. Not gonna hurt things overall. Would've loved to keep him. But best of luck.

Is he leaving the team before the end of this season? Transferring after the season is over is one thing, but if he is not finishing out this season, that raises more questions about Satterfield‘s relationship with some of these kids.

I may have my criticisms of Coach Satterfield (need to stay aggressive with a lead, need to hire dedicated OC) but his relationship with his players is maybe his greatest attribute. They play their asses off, never quit in a game, bounce back after tough losses and they maintain a positive attitude.
If one kid quits after dropping down the depth chart, will so be it.

While I think the transfer rule is good it does allow kids an easy way out instead of fighting their way to where they want to be. This offense is perfect for him but he kept fumbling and dropping passes. When you get benched or move down the depth chart because of things you control transferring is not the solution. It is an option but it isn’t the solution. At its core he is blaming others and that is a bad place to be.

Hopefully he finds a good place to land and be fixes the issues that prevented him from being the kind of player he believes he is.

I'm actually surprised it took this long for him to leave. A lot was expected of him after his freshman season but he saw less action at RB and was getting less carries than newcomers.

I think it's more than fumbling but I don't have anything to prove that. Satterfield mostly used him as a kick returner and Hall finally decided if he wants to play RB he had to move on.

I wish him luck. We are fine at that position and that may be a major contributing factor in his leaving.

Precisely the fumbling, which was a problem prior to this year. Then he lost one against Ole Miss, had the great game against Virginia with 162 yards, but then lost another one against BC. Just 7 touches in two games after the BC game - and those were big games against NC State and Clemson where his home run speed could have had a big impact for us.
