I went to a game in Matthew Knight Arena right after they put in that original floor. It looked worse in person than on TV. Looked like a Sasquatch had thrown up all over it! The new design isn't much better....

That UK logo is painfully generic. Kentucky deserves something more original, for sure. I would like to see a morph of the power K and the new secondary wildcat logo. If you flip the wildcat, it could give the power K some teeth and ears. Something along those lines maybe.
It's old and out of date. Times change, things change...nothing stays the same forever.
So, if Pope brings back icicles or denim, are you gonna hate it?

Noooo. Go back to the old 1997-2015 logo. It was classic. It had the power K. You’ll never see UNC, Duke, IU, or Kansas change their logos.
I do love the new floor and it's so much better than the last one. But I will always be in favor of the Power K coming back as our logo.

Yes but no icicles. That has to be our worst uniform ever. It was beyond hideous. Liked the denim though.

It could be worse. We could have a floor that looks like that eyesore that Oregon has.
I'd like to know who at UK was responsible for continually messing with our image. Why do we have to keep re-branding?? And how did we end up with a primary logo that looks like it's from the generic stock nike logo file??
