What's ironic is how every single thing i said last season, this offseason, and now was correct and has been proven to be correct. Merriman we don't need your freaking sunshine pumping delusional wishful thinking right now.
Then put me on the ignore list
You haven'tproven anything other than being a pompous you know what. So for you to tell someone to get over themselves is really ironic.

That being said, I think you bring some descent points. But you need to learn how to communicate. Not everything is about you, so stop making it so personal. There is no need in being an *** to everyone who disagrees with you.

I said we would go 5-7 or 4-8 if we lose to USM. I have told YOU a million times that stoops never makes in game/halftime adjustments, I've told you a million times that stoops never has his team prepared. So I wasn't right about us never making adjustments and our team not being prepared? I'm guessing you saw a good football real that put on a solid outing Saturday didn't you? Take your garbage elsewhere man. You keep saying stoops is a good head coach. Well where's this good head coach at man? Why is 90% of the fanbase begin we buy him out? I've actually had many fans come to me after the loss and say 'I was wrong, you were right, I'll admit it'. Not you tho just like joker you're still one of the stoops poops soldiers.

Well.. Don't disagree when it's facts. And I'm not good at communicating after we got humiliated by the terrible OC we just fired. That loss was the most devastating loss in our program's history and it set our program back BIG TIME barring a win at Florida. Which is very unlikely.

First, I never said Stoops was a good coach. For the millionth time, I said he has a lot to prove to me, but I am not going to throw stones at him either.
Secondly, the season isn't over, so you don't know the final record yet.
Thirdly, they were prepared. They were up 25 at one point. So that proves to me that they were prepared
Lastly, they made adjustments, they just fine make the correct ones. So yes, that needs work from Coach Stoops.

They were up 25 at one point? You forget where we gave up 34 unanswered points? And that's called preparation. They acted like they had won the game at halftime. That's not preperation. Losing to the OC you just fired isn't preperation. Name an adjustment we made? And yes after that game 4-8 is almost all but gauranteed. Keep sunshine pumping if you want but this team OBVIOUSLY sucks. I can't talk to you about football because all you do is say things like we were up 25 at one point. As if that means a damn thing. I've said over and over again we don't make halftime/in game adjustments. And this game proved it. I can't discuss football with delusional folks like you who pretends like we just watched a solid football team put on a solid performance on Saturday. The fact we had a 25 point lead does mean something. It means they were content with the fact they were up 25. It means they didn't stay focused once halftime came. All of which a reflection of stoops coaching. He could've easily kept his team focused. But he probably went into halftime and said 'good job guys keep up the good work' and proceeded to give each player not one but 2 pats on the back. Good teams stay focused and realize the game isn't over and step on the other teams throat after half time. Bad teams/coaches allow teams to come back and humiliate us. And that's what we have with stoops. A bad coach. I can't count the number of times you've said 'I have a hard time believing stoops woke up one day and forgot how to coach' he obviously never learned how to be a head coach. Which is why no one other than your fellow sunshine pumping brethren can talk football with you.

I talk football with plenty of people. And through our disagreements are mature enough to discuss it in a manner that is respectful. You obviously can't. Therefore, don't respond to my comments anymore. You are obviously an immature person that needs to leave grown up talk to grownups.

I would just take winning the majority that we should and not getting trounced by UT, Georgia, and UofL. If those three are not competitive, then I see a program not close to being headed in the right direction.

Name on loss more devastating? I said so before the game that if we lose it'll be the worst loss we've ever had for a program trying to take the next step. Ticket sales have officially plummeted, recruiting momentum has officially taken a hault. The average fan is now off the stoops bandwagon and wants him gone. Do not mistake this loss set our entire football program back. It destroyed fan morale, it destroyed faith in stoops, it destroyed people's willingness to go to games. We've certainly had more heartbreaking losses than this, but this is definitely the most impactful loss we've had.
Please find me a loss that impacted us more? And the facts I was talking about was the fact that stoops never makes in game/halftime adjustments. Idk if you realize this. We've blown 21+ point leads in back to back games.

Most people I can talk to respectfully. Not you because regardless of results your opinions always stay the same. If we were winning games. I would admit to you I was wrong. But since we obviously suck. You still can't admit to me that I was right and you were wrong like many others have. Stoops poops.

We as Kentucky fans will take any sign of "improvement" and run to the banks with it. That has been proven. What makes me sad is this...

Kentucky has an awesome shot at still winning 6 games this year. Awesome right? Improvement right?Kentucky has a good shot at starting 5-3, and I think they can...which ensures a bowl game. And probably atleast 2 more years of Stoops....

What I find sad is people thinking 6 wins is improvement or even mediocre:
If Kentucky starts out 5-3 that means they have lost to a Sun Belt team, and the defending East and West champs(understandable). It also means Kentucky beats 3 teams combining for 4 SEC wins last season, a team who was just beaten by South Alabama, and a Sun Belt team who has gone 8-40 the last 4 seasons. Only 1 of those teams won week 1(against the other).

It is so sad that our fan base will take that as impressive. Our very own posters will flaunt that 6-6 record

1st we crawl, then we walk, then we run. I hate to be the one to break it to you, but if this team lived up to it's hype they were not winning 8-10 games. 6-7 was the max and yes that would have been a good START! But no let's just go 4-8 ho hum

This USM loss was bad and a top 10 bad loss for UK but losing to Vandy 40-0 was the worst in our history imo. Or the Arkansas game where we were being beaten so bad we called it quits and blamed the rain. As bad as the USM loss is, those 2 were worse.

I am sorry to expect better out of a year 4 SEC coach than another big win vs South Carolina...forgive me...and sorry that I didnt expect a 25 point lead to be blown against a Sun Belt team. I have been watching B12 (huge TTU fan) and SEC football for a long time. You cant put max amount of wins on a college football team. Its college football. Kingsbury is also in yr 4 and gets smoked by UK in recruiting yet manages to go into Fatetteville and take out Arkansas. While Stoops gets credit for taking out 2 SEC teams with 2 total SEC wins last season. Stoops is trash my friend. The sooner he is gone, the better. If you think 6 wins is good on this schedule, I am sorry. Year 4 isnt a "start" lol.

Please name a fact he's brought up? The one where he says the UF team Towles almost beat 2 seasons ago wasn't as good as the USC team we beat last season? He's just aggravating because he has little to zero knowledge about the game yet still tries to butt in and act like he does. I've never seen an intelligent post from him that didn't have some sort of hopeful wishful thinking in it. It's all dreamland with him. I feel you though you must be upset about how all the things I called stoops out on this offseason, ended up coming to fruition in game 1. It's ok. Maybe one day I'll make an incorrect assessment about stoops and our team. So far. I'm like 80 for 80. Track record is pretty solid when it comes to assessing our team. All the things I complained about with stoops as far as him being an absolutely terrible head coach this offseason. Happened Saturday. And I know since you were disagreeing with me all offseason it must upset you. Maybe you'll be right one of these days poet. Best advice I can give you though, listen to what my assessments are in the offseason, and just repeat my sentiments. You'll be correct a lot more often.

I don't think that vandy game, negatively impacted our program near as much as this loss. We just flat out sucked that season and that era, but this loss we went from, trying to rebuild, to the wheels falling off. This loss has negatively impacted recruiting (we just lost a recruit to like UCF?) Not to mention how bad that was for our perception as far as a team that's 'just getting stated bro' and on the upswing (or so we thought til this loss), It has destroyed attendance and morale
amongst the fans (you'll see), and the casual fan has seemingly lost all interest when before the game interest was almost at an all time high level as far as anticipation goes. When we lost 40-0 vandy. None of our fans were invested in the program. No single loss has ever set us back as much as this loss. I truly believe in terms of a single loss negatively effecting a program as a whole, that this is the worst loss in UK FB history.

Seriously. Name me a loss. That has negatively effected our program as a whole as much as this one. There's been many heartaches where we lost heartbreakers. But this loss has a whole different type of feel to it. As if the season ended after one game. That's the feeling that came with this loss. It was as if we were excited for football season and a possible bowl team, then we went from hopeful, to just plain ol can't watch this anymore, after one game. I truly believe as far as a loss negatively impacting a program. That this is BY FAR the worst in UK history and not even close. Name me a loss, that has negatively impacted the football program as a whole, as much as this loss. In a year where many fans thought it could be a breakthrough season. This loss has effected our program in every aspect off the field and on the field. Never seen a loss like that's honestly.

No telling how many recruits we've lost all interest from due to this one game, or how many decommitments are to come from this loss since all these recruits are noticing our fans giving up on stoops, and if he's lost all the fans why would recruits want to come play for him when the man has barely any fans left? A lot are going to have to think to themselves, why would i play for a coach that is losing to Southern Mississippi to an OC that the head man just fired in a breakthrough year for the program? I guess stoops wasn't the coach I thought. Time to look elsewhere! Certain losses can lose you recruits, and I feel like this loss is going to single handily cause many decommitments barring a bounce back vs UF, and many recruits to lose all interest in general. I bet if Eskridge were still committed. He would've decommited the next day after seeing that game. I just can't possibly see too many recruits staying on board after a loss like that. And how many losses have had you think in these kind of terms before? That the one loss may have single handily lost some key recruits? I can't think of a single one where it caused a huge possibility of decent recruits jumping ship. Not saying for sure they're going to jump ship. But I would be shocked if a bunch of these recruits stayed on board after that game if we don't bounce back vs UF and have a halfway decent season.
