Won a color tv back when it didn't matter. Thought I won at life. Wasn't the last time I was wrong...

Won $50 on a $1 scratch off called "Beginner's Luck" when the KY lottery first started when I was 8. Dad bought the whole family tickets. Mine won. My total winnings were: Dad cashed in the ticket and I got to choose ANY candy bar in the store EVEN King Size.

Hit game-winning double AND caught a pop up for the last out when I was 11 to win a recreation league tournament. We were a Cinderella story as we won 5 games all season and got hot in the postseason, winning 4 games in 3 days. That's the high point of my athletic career.

Won a 13" TV/VCR combo from my high school's Project Graduation. Pawned it the first month of my freshman year of college for partying money. (I already had a 19" TV/VCR combo)

-I had a lot of success in DFS over the past two years on both Fanduel and Draftkings before AL banned it. Deposited 1700 and walked away with 14k.

-4 ticket books to the 2004 SEC Tournament -- the first I attended -- from a Nashville Radio Station.

-A Wii U from a local TV station college football pickem contest.

-$100 credit to the Rivals store for 3rd Place in one of the contests Brett Dawson setup a few years back.

Gotta say this is good thread idea and has been interesting reading the responses.

I have won a couple minor things in my lifetime. Most notably, just about 3-4 months ago I won the progressive pot at a local home builders association I belong to here in SW FL. Was about $800 I think. Of course, I was a newer member and was getting some crap from the older members so ended up donating it all right back to the local future home builders chapter.

Otherwise, had some good and some really bad nights at the black jack tables in IN & FL.

When I was 10, 1988 I believe, Superamerica gas stations had a raffle contest to meet an NBA player at the Bluegrass State Games. It was Michael Jordan. I won but wasn't able to go because it was on the last day of a summer camp I went to that year and they wouldn't let me leave early.

The next year the same raffle was held. I stuffed the box and won again. I also won at another Superamerica so I had 4 tickets. Dominique Wilkins came that year. He dunked and then signed autographs.

I know I've won some other stuff, just can't remember it. I lose 99.9% of the contests where you just enter your name and do nothing else. Like literally I've only won one of those in my entire life.
