I'm not going to rub it in your face or even remember this thread for all that matters. I respect your thoughts and opinions although they are different than mine. That's why we have a message board, to share thoughts.

Having said that, just because some don't think Frost will get it done doesn't mean that they aren't supporters. Some people base their belief on face value while others base it on hope and dreams. I bleed the red, I spend a lot money making a trip once a year to support our boys. That doesn't mean that I can't or shouldn't be critical for missing ANOTHER BOWL season while having played the easiest schedule we've had in the past century. Not to mention, with so many bowl games, how do you not make a bowl?? Of course I'm highly dissapointed with our staff.

We aren't far off. I am not a Frost fan boy. I have doubts if he will ever turn the corner.

I am not meaning this directly to you, I just hate hyperbole and overly emotional arguments. Makes me feel like I am arguing with my wife!

I get ya. I have no one else to discuss Husker football with, or at least with the knowledge that those have on this board. GBR!

It’s simple though better athletes means easier to call plays that succeed. I’m not an apologist but our ends are complete garbage outside of JD and he’s not a number 1. Need better players of course, getting tougher to get them at a 5-7 program in the middle of nowhere

Chicken and the egg.. Need better athletes but hard to get them when we aren’t winning.

Why all the hate on Frost? Did he make plenty of mistakes this year? Absolutely. He’s still a very young coach and we’re still going to have growing pains. This was only his 4th year as a head coach. Everyone he is being compared to has previous experience. When Frost got hired everyone said it would be a process and now no one wants to wait. Relax. This is not a 2 year fix like UCF. We don’t get to play ECU and UCONN all year.
Scott has been very underwhelming to say the least. There were so many head scratching moments this year. Having said that, I hope the guy figures it out and kicks some serious butt. I’m not particularly confident that will happen, but I can still support him all the way—100%, and I do. He needs to start learning from his mistakes, keep building on what does work and quit trying to reinvent the wheel.

I think we all would have liked to have seen some progress from year 1 to 2. We haven’t.

I’m not sure this is a better coached team than what we had with Riley.
When Frost was hired everyone said it would take time to rebuild it. Fast forward 2 years and people forget that simple point.

It was going to take time and will take time.

Nebraska is NOT a place where a rebuild can happen overnight. Not going to happen even if Nick Saban was hired.

The off-season hype was generated by dumb people in the media.

I predict we will be a lot better next year as the roster starts to flip over to more dominated Frost players playing instead of the Riley guys. Most Riley guys will be gone now.

Fix the pass rush and passing game issues and this program will win a lot of games.
Man, I am drowning in your Kool-Aid !
