1. Women drivers. Yes I said it. Yes they suck. I can always count on it being a woman when I pass a car who can’t drivr for sht.

2. People that do not realize the turning lane of an interstate. Just slow down in the middle of a crowded interstate to make a turn off, instead of getting over and letting traffic flow.

3. Drivers that go slow as sht and when I make my turn their road rage kicks in and they floor it. The turn was fine until you decided, for some stupid reason, you want to punch it simply because I’m making a turn before you get to me.

When people are at a intersection and the light is about to change, then they pull up as close to the car ahead of them, blocking the people from moving when their light changes. They blocked the whole intersection where nobody can go straight, or turn. All just to save about 45 seconds, the time it takes for the light to change back to green for them.

Morons who don’t get completely in the center land to turn and are just hanging out a bit causing you to either stop or slow down to manuever around them.

People who knowingly run red lights. Almost died at lunch. In the left turn lane to turn, the light turns yellow and we can see the car coming. He not only sped up, but the light had been red for 5 seconds before he ran it. Thankfully we waited before turning, just in case he decided to run it. God I hate touching ********.

The guy that can't figure out whether he wants to be a truck driver or a cowboy.
He has put a 24" lift on his Dodge dually , has modified the exhaust to where it now can be heard coming 6 miles away, and has tied a set of Bull Nuts AND a cow bell to his trailer hitch. (not to mention the 4 CB antennas)
He drives as if he owns the road, with that thing all lit up like a christmas tree, riding your bumper with his brand new LED light bar shining in your face and when he finally gets the chance to pass he blows smoke in your face so black that it looks like a solar eclipse is happening !
And it's almost a gaurantee that if you follow that truck until he stops, when he does get out you can see why he's like that..............

He's 5'4" weighs a buck 25 and suffers from " little man syndrome" !
That guy SUCKS!

truckers in the left lane going uphill. in birmingham we have double oak mountain..which arent the biggest hills, but theyre steep.. these arseholes can start a backup miles long.

they are the reason for snowpocalypse a few years back. jack knifed semis blocking every lane.. had to sleep at a dadgum hotel and got gouged to death. they could have filmed a winter version of the walking dead with all the abandoned cars for days,

I had to dodge a guy driving the wrong way on a 4 lane divided street this morning. Fun times.
Not to bring up a horrible event but has anyone ever actually clocked how far Larry Mahoney drove on the wrong side of 71 before hitting the school bus? He went over 6 miles on the wrong side of the highway.

It would be nice to have a windshield that auto shaded depending on the brightness of oncoming lights, but we can’t have nice **** like that because of the suing freeloaders.

One I haven't seen mentioned is the driver who pulls out in front of me when there is no one behind me for 5 miles.

Full Disclosure: Had a rare Ice event in Austin back in early 80s, did a poor job scrapping off my windshield and windows. I approach a stop sign and what visibility I have, road looked clear to me so I pull on out. Didn’t see the Rig coming down the road, hear this horn and screeching of tires and unfortunately for me, we come to a stop light. This dude lit my *** up and I was as apologetic and embarrassed as can be. Then the poor bastard feels guilty and I just laugh and tell him he was good, had every reason to be pissed, I could’ve killed us both.

Nice, I have done similar. Pulled over in front of someone that I didn't see coming. They had to slam on their brakes and about caused a pileup. I immediately got over and proceeded to wave at each car and pray they understood that I was signaling that I jacked up, recognize it and am sorry as ****.

people that pull in front of you onto a road and then go about 15 mph for the first 200 yards, forcing you to brake and slow down. Takes them forever to get up to speed. people, when you pull into traffic, make sure when you do do you can get up to speed quick enough that you dont force the cars you pulled in frotn of to brake!

1. People who don’t use turn signals to indicate a lane change.

2. People who don’t know right of way rules at stop signs that involve one car going straight and another turning left. It astounds me how many drivers don’t understand straight has right of way.

3. Going slow in the fast lane.

I hate to break this to you but you couldn't be more wrong. Whoever gets to the stop sign first has right of way. If both arrive at the same time, the car to the right has right of way. It has absolutley nothing to do with which direction you are going.

I run into that all the time at a two way stop near my house. I get there first and am ready to turn left and people show up after me and just try and take off straight through the intersection like I'm not even there. Must be the other poster since his rules of the road are screwed up.

I hear you. If he really thinks that is true I can believe he hasn't got in an accident or shot by someone who really did have right of way.

Here is what I found on it.

The driver of a vehicle intending to turn to the left within an intersection or into an alley, private road, or driveway shall yield the right-of-way to all vehicles approaching from the opposite direction which are within the intersection or so close thereto as to constitute an immediate hazard, then said driver, having so yielded and having given a signal when and as required by this chapter, may make such left turn.

It says you have to yield if they are in the intersection and not if they arrive at the stop after you. That is what probably confuses some people.

What if the drivers get there simultaneously and they’re parallel? Both drivers think they’re on the right (opposite driver is to their respective lefts), who goes first: left turn or stratight through?

Another peeve is people turning left at a light without an arrow who don’t yield to straight across. I’ve seen a lot of wrecks happen that way.

Last peeve is people who “cut” in line at 4-ways.

At the same time then I would say the person going straight should go first. I know usually someone either just goes and doesn't wait at all to see what the other driver does or someone will just be nice and wave the other person through.

The aggressive person who has to fly off of the on ramp onto the expressway right in front of me.

I am boxed in, and I cannot get over. Hey, on the other hand, show no signs of slowing down as they try to merge onto the expressway.

Do drivers not realize that when traffic lights are out, not flashing but out completely, that you have to treat like a stop sign? I mean, that’s the rule here in NY. I assume everywhere also.

What you have quoted above says nothing about approaching stop signs from opposite directions. That quote implies vehicles approaching an intersection where neither would ordinarily have to stop (green light for example), the one wanting to turn left must yield to the vehicle going straight through, even if he got to the intersection first.

That was just part of the quote. It came from an article about 2 way stops and who has the right away between a person going straight and one turning left.

Here is what the Kentucky driver's manual says about the subject.

• At a 4-way, 3-way, or 2-way stop, the driver reaching the intersection and stopping first should go first.

It’s a situation I see leaving my neighborhood daily. I usually turn right to go where I’m going. But I’ve seen so many close calls, honked horns, middle fingers and people just staring at each other with nobody moving.

A million times this, or the people who only halfway get in the turn lane

Yeah, those are the worst.

People who speed up to exit the freeway when there are people trying to speed up to enter.

People who think there is a waiting period at a 4 way stop when it's their turn to go.

Folks who go as far up as they can in a lane-closure/accident situation on an interstate before forcing their way into the open lane. Hey, jerk, that action is contributing to the slow/no flow in the open lane

Same thing in SC. That is ignored here. Here, if you are on the side road to a main thoroughfare, you had better wait until the main drag is clear or else. TWO primary roads? All bets are off, and devil takes the hindmost!

Agree. The correct way to enter an interstate highway is to look over your shoulder, find some space between cars and then accelerate into that space smoothly. Instead I see too many people just blindly accelerating to interstate speed on the ramp with no thought about where they will eventually wind up. Then when the ramp ends they find themselves in a situation where they are beside cars in the right lane who can't move over because there are cars in the left lane. Then something has to give.

If that's the rule then I guess I am the idiot because it is the first I have heard of it.

Mfers who think I have my bright lights on. Don’t flip your bright lights on me at the last second when I’m in my truck. I’ll hit you with the light bar for good measure.

The guy I just flipped off on the way home that was too busy talking on his phone to use his blinker to make the right turn so I had to wait on him. He was too busy to use his turn signal but he sure as hell could flip me off back. I hope he wrecked.

I'm surprised no one has mentioned drivers who drive on the bumper of the car in front of them. Every morning on my way to work I've got some ******* so close behind me that I can't see their head lights in my rear view mirror. I guess it not being mentioned till now means several of you necks are guilty of this too.

How about the people who drive 5 mph when there is very little snow on the road? I think they are as bad as the ones that drive the normal speed limit in the snow. I ran across the 5 mph person last night. It's hard to keep a vehicle at 5 mph without riding your brake the whole time. They even had a cop on their butt the whole way through the neighborhood.
