I'll add one other thing.

If anyone caught Damon Bennings thoughts on the "Marijuana culture" yesterday. I am at a loss for words. Mary Jane was rampant. And his take was a bit puzzling to me to put it mildly.

My brother worked for the Athletic Dept during the glory days and was friends with most of the roster. Many of those guys were toking up on the regular. He told me that "Peaches" ultimately couldn't function, unless he was high. It was implied that the marijuana culture from TO and Blow's tenure is part of the problem today. I think many people would be surprised as to how many players (DONU) and other places, do this on the regular. But after yesterday, I can't listen to that show and take DB seriously anymore.

johnney rodgers, tony davis, mike rozier, lawrance phillips, randy gregory

name the one who didn't ever get high.

Im not saying it right, Im saying you go to any college football team like Nebraska and you will find the same or worse. and on them teams some players didn't do it and some do.

I'll put our record against any other team, except maybe byu but they are all like 27 with 3 kids.

If you really want to see some drug use I suppose charly thompson- 0u or the miami hurricanes would make the Huskers look like choir boys.

Diaco would be an almost impossible sell as a head coach. His team was horrible, he is goofy to put it kindly, and he is horrible with public relations. Quirky coordinators are fine. They don't tend to make good head coaches particularly in football. (Even the Pirate has plenty of detractors.)

I can't see him getting another HC gig at a Power 5 between his track record here and UConn. Some guys are better cut out to be coordinators than a HC. Diaco seems to fit that mold.

So the marijuana culture from TO and Bo is what got Stanley Morgan and KJJ arrested? Wow........if only the tackling and blocking culture would have survived all these years.

You think bringing in a staff from Oregon is going to help that?
