Anyone following this? IMO seems like the guy is def. guilty. Had family that lived in the same complex, they have his DNA, palm print, and ***** from the crime scene. Took a long time but looks like they will finally get justice here.
Had forgotten all about it but re-read up on it last week when the trial started. You can cast a lot of doubt on pretty much any trial...except for DNA. He's cooked, as he should be.
That said, the roommate stuff was just an incredible amount of bad coincidences for that girl. If she's 100% innocent, she really caught some bad breaks with how the circumstances unfolded that made her an appealing suspect.
Gotta be impressed with all the investigators persistencehttps://www.wral.com/news/local/faith-hedgepeth-trial-murder-guilty-verdict-october-2026/
They got him. Pretty impressed with the work done to catch this guy ~15 years later. Hope this brings her family some solace.
I saw the one on Saturday night, and the one years ago when it first happened.I frequently tape the Friday / Saturday editions of Dateline ... 48 Hours ... 20/20. Then I'll watch the ones that seem interesting.
It turns out 20/20 on Saturday night was about the Hedgepeth situation. I had never heard about any of this.
Perhaps there's a way you can find this episode. Note - 20/20 is the ABC version of these shows.
