Yep. Seems to be confirmed now. Gotta think the , uhhh , "isssues" he had this past season ultimately contributed to this decision ( to one extent or the other ) but , hey , I'll take it. Good to have 'im back.
Oh dear lord, DI needed this. I was starting to let the negativity muzzle my keyboard. We'll be needing his leadership. Perhaps a jersey retirement will happen if he can get a national award.
I was coming start a thread because I saw a post Duke Men's Basketball Facebook page with a quote from Grayson saying "Gonna miss these guys at Duke next year, but we'll have a nice squad though" then I saw this thread. Glad to have him back next season. His experience and leadership will be really huge for the team next season.
This can be his redemption season..I can't wait for the season to start..I feel good about this one
Very pleased he's coming back as a senior. We need his experience and leadership. He will make us better regardless of who else in any decides to leave or who else if any decide to come to Duke. OFC

He has a lot to prove to himself and critics. I just couldn't see him leaving Duke with circumstances as they are. He's still gonna hear the boo's and the target will still be on his back but I really think he's got the stuff to deal with it. OFC
So I'll just saw I'm 2-0 on the Grayson allen predictions when many didn't believe

Having great seniors is always a good thing. If he is healthy, he could have the year many expected last year. I'm excited.

Actually this time I see the Holes pretending to laugh this off as if him coming back will be a detriment to Duke. Ha Haaa, silly Holes.

I was at the Gym when I seen this on espn, my workout found a new gear afterwards. Thank you Grayson
Only way I think Knox is good for Duke is if Jackson leaves. Not enough minutes, and everyone seems to leave Trent out of lineup, and what about Vrank, Delaurier, and White. Pushing them further down bench isn't the answer. In my opinion Bolden and Carter will start, I predict a good season out of Bolden. Remember K doesn't go deep with bench, and it will shorten up by January, so we can't have everybody and make everybody happy
I mentioned this in another post a couple weeks ago... I agree with you that carter and bolden will start. i feel like one of the reasons we played a stretch 4 the past couple years (Winslow, Ingram, Tatum) was because it would have been tough on offense to have Amile and a center (marshall and jah) in the game at the same time for long stretches. I love amile but amile would never shoot that 8-12 footer to open up the post. When one of your big game plans is to drive and finish at the rim or drive and kick, you can't have bigs clogging the lane. Carter will take that shot (maybe even out to 15 feet) and he can hit it consistently. This will help bolden as well. They can feed off of each other.

White could be used at 2/3 positions.Wouldnt expect to see much of O'Connell this yr... I dont see Smith coming if Frank returns and Duval comes.
I would love to have Knox, but w/above group see 1-2 unhappy per PT if he does come, because of K's short bench...

I hope Grayson comes into next season with a good mindset. It's obvious that his plan was to leave after last season, but things didn't work out unfortunately. All that could be done is to pick up the pieces, work his tail off, and possibly have the season that many thought he was going to have last season. He may be disappointed that his draft stock took a dip this past season, but its not too late for him to get it back. For my own selfish reasons, I'm happy as hell he's back! Can't wait to see another season from one of my favorite Blue Devils to ever wear the uniform.
