Wow, I really like Grayson but you like him over the likes of Laettner, Battier, Grant Hill, J.J., Jay Williams, Luke, Sheldon Williams, Elton Brand, Dunleavey, Hurley....and on and on.....?
Honestly the best news I've heard in a while. I love me some GA, definitely one of my favorite players of all time. I am beyond overjoyed that he's coming back. 5-2 against the holes, hoping to make it 7-2. Dare I say 8-2? Perhaps even 9-2?
This is all fine and dandy but we need Duval. We may have to call up Louisville for some tips and promise him he can take some UNCheat classes while he's at Duke. We absolutely need that point guard or it'll be another sweet 16 exit. No More Grayson at point guard. And hopefully the work on feeding the post this offseason. Defense should be much better as long as we stick with the traditional lineup. We need to cancel that meeting with Knox. Don't need him at all.
Folks, I'D FLEX, but I like this shirt!! . This is just great news as far as I am concerned. It's ironic, but I was watching highlights of Grayson earlier this afternoon and just thinking, you have got to come back and redeem yourself. You cannot go out this way, we have to see you as you were in your Soph. year, that big Grayson smile, and playing carefree basketball. By your own admission, you live and breathe Duke, now go out and show the world what you are made of.I believe that everything is done for a reason, and I so hope that this young man can find his way back to the real Grayson. He deserves it, and I for one, will be rooting for him right to the end!

Gene Banks is my 2nd favorite blue devil ever behind Grant Hill...so you can have favorites that aren't better than some players you mentioned
He's gonna have one helluva senior season. I got to think with all the crap that went down this year, he's going to be rewarded bigly. I can't wait to hear the roar at CTC when they introduce him for his senior season!
Looking forward to him ending his college career as a Duke captain. Hopefully it being taken away from him last season will make it mean even more to him and we'll see him thrive in the role.
Congrats on getting a star player back. How do y'all feel about getting duval now? If he were to chose duke who would come off the bench? Curious on your takes as it will be interesting to see who starts for duke next year.

I see allen moving out of the pg role of you get duval. If Jackson comes back, he will start, he proved last yr he can play with the best. With allen returning, it will be hard to convince Knox to come there when you have a stud in Trent sitting there. I don't think Knox goes to uk either, just curious on how you guys feel k will handle it.

Let's all resist the urge to click on the many articles showing up on the internet which we know are going to be all about tripping and none about what a great kid and competitor our Grayson is.
I think lots of us have favorites that were not necessarily the "best" players on the roster. My first ever favorite player at Duke was Mark Crow. Loved Kenny Dennard, Vince Taylor, Dave Henderson and many more that were not the most decorated of Duke players.
