Looks like Jalon Jones is returning to Henrico after a 1-year absence where he played for St. Frances in Baltimore. Addition of him along with Eric McDaniels and Jahad Carter will make this offense very potent.

Do not sleep on this team... they will be a threat in Region 5B.

He's been at a different school each year. Varina, Henrico, Private School, back to Henrico...... He's a Senior now, is school for this kid more about football than the education part? Why all of this moving around?

I went to 2 different colleges myself before settling at VCU. It’s all about finding yourself. I find nothing wrong with a kid who moves around to find better opportunities. What I have problems with is kids that ring chase and stack the ship. Had he’d gone to HS or Bird, yes, question his motives but he’s going back to Henrico. Good for the young man that he wants to go back there and take on the big boys. Henrico will be very fun to watch. Contender status.

I hope he does well! It says he's Florida bound. Sounds like he's made his college decision..... In the article it, in a nutshell, says he just wants to be with and play football with his friends. I like the idea and the potential he brings to Henrico! We want contenders on our schedule! We want the best they can throw at us! They are still going to have to through the East End to move on!

I'll also give the young man the benefit of the doubt. Like DSH and Springer were eluding to, maybe he is realizing he wants to be back home. Maybe he was drug around by parents that were trying to do what they felt was best for him? And maybe he decided, I just want to go home? I hope so for his happiness.
