Finally, and most ominously, Trump has already drafted a script that could be used in two years’ time to impeach the midterm elections should they result in Republican reversals. That same script could be called upon four years from now should Trump lose a re-election bid. Whatever damage candidate Trump could have done to American democracy had he lost in November would pale in comparison to the damage wrought by a sitting president rejecting his defeat.

This is not to say that Trump would try to turn America into Gambia. But confidence in the results of elections is the ultimate benchmark of a democracy’s legitimacy. This confidence is based on the transparency of processes, and on the existence of a free and independent press able to expose any irregularities. In propagating the myth of his stolen popular vote, Trump has attacked both.

A December 28 report in San Jose’s Mercury News noted that two years after the implementation of AB 60, a controversial law allowing illegal aliens to obtain driver's licenses in California, an estimated 806,000 illegal residents have received driver’s licenses, according to the latest Department of Motor Vehicles (DMV) statistics. However, the fallout from that law is even worse than allowing more than four-fifths of a million illegal aliens on the road. On October 10, 2015, Governor Jerry Brown signed Assembly Bill 1461, the New Motor Voter Act, which will automatically register people to vote through the DMV, and could result in illegal aliens voting.

The day after the bill was signed, a reporter for the Washington Times noted that the under the new law, all Californians would automatically be registered to vote when they obtained or renewed their driver’s licenses at the DMV, instead of being required to fill out a form.

However, noted the reporter, election-integrity advocates have warned that the new procedure could inadvertently add millions of illegal voters to the rolls because California allows illegal aliens to obtain driver’s licenses.

---yeah, it's all fake...---

Are undocumented immigrants voting illegally in Arizona?
http://www.azcentral.com/story/news...ting-illegally-arizona-donald-trump/91703916/

In 2013, the U.S. Supreme Court ruled that Arizona can't require would-be voters to show proof of citizenship if they are registering using the federal-only form. That form allows voters to cast ballots in federal elections, including presidential, senate and congressional races, but not state elections.

The number of voters who fill out the federal-only form, however, remains low, Bartholomew said. Out of about 2.2 million registered voters in Maricopa County, about 3,800 filled out the federal-only form, she said.

In 2016, Maricopa County alone has registered 90,725 new voters, she said. ---that's ONE county, but I know from living there that there are only 13 counties---

That is a huge increase from the 3,255 new registered voters in 2015 but well below the 197,292 new registered voters four years ago in 2012, the last presidential election year. Of the 90,725 new registered voters so far this year, more than two-thirds registered electronically online through the state's Service Arizona website. The rest came in the old fashioned way: on paper.

To be added to the state's voter-registration rolls, new voters first had to provide proof of U.S. citizenship in the form of an Arizona driver's license issued after Oct. 1, 1996, or copies of a birth certificate, U.S. passport, tribal identification, naturalization documents, or their alien registration number.

The vast majority of would-be voters provide their driver's license numbers on registration forms.
