Here are things I believe

1. A new coaching staff has to implement their system on Day 1, teach the new concepts, get the plays on film to show the recruits.
2. You have to give a coaching staff a few years to implement their system and recruit their players before you know if it is going to work.
3. I don't care how bad it gets, I will never wish Pelini was still the coach.
4. For everyone who is ready to give up their season tickets, I will take them.

Having said that...

1. This $h!t is hard to watch.
2. Riley, stop telling people you are customizing this offense for the talent you have, because you aren't. And saying that you are makes you look like you have no clue. Running one option per game doesn't count.
3. I feel bad for the seniors, who are about to go out as the worst Husker team in modern history.

I agree with everything you said. Which is why the Riley hire was so puzzling. By the time he gets all of his guys in here, he will be ready to retire. Then we have to start all over with a new coach and system, and give that coach 4-5 years to recruit to his system.

I wanted Bo gone, but I don't think Riley is a good fit. A guy like Herman or Frost would have run an offense that fit the strengths of our team better. And if they succeeded, they would have been here for a long time.

Weren't we celebrating a past team in the Oklahoma state disaster during the Callahan years ? Strangely familiar. This coaching staff doesn't deserve to be on the same field as our 1995 team.

I would settle for some progress at this point. No one is expecting a CC every year. Who would want to coach here? Open up the check book and find out. They have to stop going on the cheap.

well god forbid if we lose next week at Purdue.....If that happens, you have to seriously take a long look at making a move......not saying to make one, but looking at it....and fully put Reilly on the hot seat for next year.
