That's how I would respond, too. I mean Trump is the POTUS......he didn't go to the FBI or CIA for an investigation or information.....went to a foreign leader for it.......on a political opponent.
Funny how different people read a document and come to different conclusions. Here is what I came up with....
- Trump wants to finalize the Muller investigation. He wants to find out who hacked HRC's emails and secure that information. He wants to finalize the report.
- Trump wants to get to the bottom of the whole Biden story. He wants them to investigate a potential illegal political deal. He asked for an investigation, not to use politics to take him down.
- The prosecutor that was fired, actually was doing his job of fighting corruption.
- The Ukrainian President is trying to mirror Trumps administration to get political bias out of the gov.
Where is the threat? Where is the withholding of funds?
This is nothing compared to what Obama did. If you had no problem with that, sit down.

The fired prosecutor was Viktor Shokin. He was corrupt, giving his powerful allies passes on charges. He was corrupt. Ukrainians were protesting for his removal. Many countries were pushing for him to be removed. Let's not pretend that Shokin was doing God's work.

Your post is already disproven. The aid that was on the table was for encryption communications, not weapons. On top of that, Trump started off with other EU nations not doing their part, which is exactly why he said that he was withholding the aid. The Ukrainian President agreed with him.

The passes that they are willing to give this guy are legendary. Yes. Trump is really trying to clear up a 10 year old matter (that has already been cleared) for the good of our country. Nothing to do with it being his main political rival. What a moron. Did he learn nothing from 2016? You cannot solicit the help/interference of a foreign government in US political campaigns. Before anyone gets too excited, pro or anti-Trump, is that really a transcript, a verbatim record of what was said? My understanding is that the call was not actually recorded, but that the usual procedure for several administrations now regarding presidential calls is for several federal employees to listen in, make notes during the conversation, then type up their notes, compare them, make what they consider to be logical adjustments, not include personal or embarrassing discussions, and then issue a collaborated version of the call. If true, not sure how much value this “transcript” is to either side. The comments made by Trump and Rudy to the media might be of more practical use than the notes of the phone call.
Please explain what the Ukrainian President said about it? Even if he was talking about the prosecutor that replaced him, it still shows how corrupt the old Ukrainian gov. was.
This is one time that we have a shared data set and while we may make assumptions the data cannot be manipulated. What you are saying came from ONE source that was corrupt. We now that is a fact.
