Putin doesn't give a rat's *** about ISIS, imo. Putin is trying to become the power broker in the Middle East. He is shipping arms to Iran and standing along side Iran to shore up Assad. Assad has been Russia's ally for a long time and Assad is Iran's puppet. With this strategy, Putin gets control over Iran and Syria.

The rest of the Middle Eastern countries are terrified of both Iran and ISIS. Russia is aiding them by fighting ISIS and controlling Iran. He will become their protector. What does Putin expect in return? High oil prices. Russia is in desperate economic circumstances. Their energy dependent economy needs higher oil prices, considerably higher.

With the U.S. exit, Putin has free reign. He isn't afraid of losing some troops in this battle. His focus is on control, influence and high oil prices. That gives him enormous international power. Most countries are very, very dependent on Middle Eastern oil.

I think that is the end game. If so, he will control about 90% of the proven reserves in the world.

Energy independence is viable if we get out of our own way.

Now that's some analysis, you've really done your homework. There are people who would pay to read that and here I am reading it for free, damn.

Putin wants greater influence in the ME?! No way, where did you come up with that? He wants higher oil prices?! Again, you're way ahead of everyone on that one too. Nothing gets past you.

You're buddy Obama thinks Putin is teaming up with the U.S. to fight ISIS. At least, that is what he said. Ceding the ME to Putin is a blunder of historic proportions.

Lol. Obama is a naive moron. Putin is playing him like a fiddle. Putin doesn't care about lives lost, it's all about control and oil prices.
Your fanboy mancrush on Putin is just embarrassing not that there's anything wrong with that.

Please allow me to steal that one from you. Nothing is more appropriate than "nothing gets past you". You eat all the **** that Obama throws out. Putin is taking a beating in Syria and he is spending all their money to prop the man up . He is even shipping Russia soldiers to fight in a foreign war.

Are you and Obama both going to disregard family history? They are tight and have been with past generations.
