Really dude? I think we’d do about like we do in whc. Beat everyone except Murphy for whatever reason. Robbinsville will be very hard to beat some years as well, but I think we’d handle everyone else most every year. It’s certainly be a better conference for us. It’d be much better for other sports

I'd love to have Mitchell and Heritage in the SMC, they are very similar to SMC teams anyway.

Thanks I was wondering what the record history was. I knew the about the 80's in the early 80's we were 3A little mac and the team we never could beat was North Buncombe , my senior '82-'83 was the year we thought we could didn't happen, but we did beat Hendersonville for the first time that year and it was the first year in Mitchell football that we had a winning season coach gave us jackets for it with Mitchell football '82 on them and we were the first team to play in the Mitchell stadium.
But I would have thought the 90's and 00's would have been the opposite.
So is Western Sizzlin the key to the success of the Mitchell offensive line? Hmm...
Judging by my trip there tonight I'd say it's the key for Mitchell and Heritage, place was crawling with middle school football players from East Yancey, Cane River, and Mitchell after their games tonight, probably at least 20 players there. Avery was the only Toe River team that didn't look like made the trip. Still can't believe they tore the one in Burnsville down, my dad would drive right past ours and over to the one in Burnsville because he always said the bakery and desserts was better over there, but then I would always hear folks from Burnsville say they drove to ours instead of going to theirs, guess the grass is always greener on the other side.
Ours is the last one in the state west of I-95. Its a good one.

Lot of people are tired of the mitchell hype pal. After friday the joke will be on you guys again, and I will not let you guys forget it. Looking forward reading all the excuses after the game lol. Wonder what Pitman thinks about mit fans always making excuses when they get beat.

Yeah its quiet entertaining. They beat a couple of cupcake teams, their fans build em up with false hope then y'all tear them down. Then it's nothing but excuses until the beat a couple of more cupcakes, their fans build them back up, they go into the playoffs hyped, run into a Cherokee or a Murphy, then they tear em down. It's kinda like Charlie Brown and the football. You seen it a thousand times, but everytime Lucy pulls that football away and Charlie falls on his back, so disappointed, you just have to laugh!

On a serious note mountie the difference between mitchell and Heritage fans and players is this its Mitchell hope to win, heritage knows they are winning. Give you credit you do support the mountaineers, deep down you feel same way.

I figured it out Joey's waterboys 2020 and mountain man 19 bet a whole months allowance on this game thinking Mitchell stunk, then we won a few and they started getting worried cause that means less chicken nuggets and hot dogs for a while so they're trying to get in our heads everyone ignore them these are both probably students 
2 more days until the epic battle...I just hope we can pull this off. I'm really worried about Heritage's line play. They have 2 beasts on d-line. Like I said in my previous post, we'll have to pass for 200 yards to have a chance at winning. They are the best team we will play this year. Good luck Mountaineers!
