I'm not a Hertzel fan. But I'd say insulting the fan base is more offensive than what Hertzel said. BTW, in his prime Hertzel was very successful.

So was the nepotism of paying the worst defensive coordinator in WVU history $500k and a terrible special teams coach $250k. I don't think people should be poking a guy who just lost his job, on Twitter. I have nothing personal against any coach (other than Rodriguez and Magee) and hope that DeForest lands on his feet, somewhere else...

i hope you know what you're talking about. i have my doubts for 3 very good reasons... 1) it's you 2) no florida kids on the commitment list 3) dana has expressed a desire to get away from florida recruiting

Yes. For the most part, our special teams have been bad since he took over, other than the two facets which the coach has the least to do with. Have you forgotten our punt return debacles, already? I tried to block them out, but it didn't work. Our kick and punt coverage was also pretty spotty, the past few years...

when asked about florida recruting, and i'll paraphrase, dana said he wanted to concentrate on the mid atlantic area and that florida recruits had baggage
