Listening to sports talk radio will be interesting today. Going to be a lot of hate spewed and Arthur Blank is going to be roasted for being on the sideline expecting a victory and then getting bitchslapped. Personally, I would have liked a victory but I'm more upset at the bball loss on Saturday.
I thought the half time show was pretty darn good. Commercials mostly sucked.

my wife and I said the same thing about the commercials...and it does not seem that the basketball team can put two consecutive good performances together.....my eye is better and it's supposed to be 63 here tomorrow.......guess where I will be.....and I'm not a big gaga fan but she nailed it last night
Hope you guys don't mind me jumping in on a seemingly personal conversation but don't throw Arthur Blank under the bus quite yet. He has made it a tradition since he has owned the team to be on the sidelines for the 4th quarter, win or lose. So he is at least consistent and shouldn't be skewered for that. Whether you agree with owners on the sidelines is a completely different thing.
I don't know much about Lady GaGa, but it seemed to be entertaining even though not knowing anything about her songs or music or her for that matter. This is one area where I would actually let someone else's opinion rule the day.
Finally, 4th qtr collapses are a Falcons trademark, so no one who has watched them for years started celebrating too early. We all knew what was coming.
There is no such thing as a personal conversation in this board so your comments are very welcomed. I couldn't agree more with all your sentiments. Regardless, I find the public in Georgia to be very irrational and they will rip Blank. Me personally, I love him as an owner. But so far, most of the hate is going to Kyle Shanahan and Jake Mathews.

OK, thanks for letting me jump in. No doubt Blank will take some heat, I just don't think it is warranted.
Shanahan might be the target as he is leaving anyway, Matthews play was a game changer in that instance. Penalties just as much to blame as well.
Inability to keep the Falcons defense off the field in the second half was the difference. They were worn down by the end of the game and it showed in the last half of the 4th and OT. No resistance at all to Patriot's drives.
I don't get this team at all. We play well against good teams but play down to everyone else's level.
I don't have a problem with Blank......the game should never have been lost. I also am surprised that not many are blaming "Matty Ice" for his bonehead decisions as well as the head coach Dan Quinn since he has input into play calling as well as situational football calls.
That's my logic. I get to take the family to one game a year, I always try to pick a chance for a win. I little nervous about this one.
