When Eric came in 2009 when Cals first team hit after the wheels were falling off after tubby and Clide and we were down sliding, he said were coming to Kentucky to “get this ship” right. Or “sht” right. I don’t think anybody ever figured it out but it was funny as hell.

You read like you didn’t know what he meant. As in you didn’t know what Bled said. Sounded like you were out of the loop, not questioning why he started the thread. That would read more along the lines of “ What does this have to do with anything” not “explain”. That just seemed like you needed the quote explained.

It still makes very little sense. Bledsoe was very good but if he meant we need a prime Bledsoe on this squad why not John Wall or the more recent ones like Knight, Harrison, Ulis, Fox, et al?

There was nothing but trolls on the ksr boards before the merger. They were the same trolls that shtposted in the article comments before they canned those.
People probably realized they didn't need it when it was gone and felt better not being on the boards. I know I did. I just missed some of the people that were on the CI boards at the time.
Yeah, there's no moderators right now and guys are just coming here and just make this place toxic as hell. They're definitely some new trolls, but they're some old. Cal Cult as well. He was referring to Bledsoe’s attitude when he said “we need get **** right”(which was Bledsoe’s staple quote when he was here) He wasn’t calling for Bledsoe to actually play for this team. Some of you are a little slow.
Strictly came back to BS with some of the guys and show support to the program and be a voice, albeit that voice and 4 bucks gets me a McDouble at McDonald’s.

I think some that appear toxic are just bad off with results right now. We’ve got so many records to protect since Cal decided he quit in 2017. Were starving. Then a loss to UL which didn’t bother me at all. But that last game got me, and we’re not in a position to maintain our prestige, all time wins, and the other categories we lead the nation in if we don’t pick it up very soon.
The cool thing is, and those of us who have seen this before know it (those from Hall and Rupp era really know it) Kentucky is the only program to sustain through these periods. We’re not really the greatest because of wins or titles. We’re the greatest because so far, we’re the only program who’s won large in the beginning, middle, and end. That sht isn’t changing on my watch.
I will single handed drive out the threats to our throne.
Sports gets in the way for me. I still argue OJ was innocent. Just don’t think he did it. Read the stuff on Bledsoe, just don’t see that happening.
Called Ray Lewis’ innocents a mile away. Eddie George’s wife was guilty times 10. Easy call.would have locked up Lorenzen Wrights wife immediately super obvious.

The Louisville game didn’t bother me as much as I thought it would. It was one game, Louisville is decent this year, on the road and we at least showed signs of life snd made it a game.
The MSU game was much more bothersome because that is the worst i’ve seen UK play in a long time. i don’t think we ever looked THAT bad during the 9-16 season. The last game that stands out to me that gave me the same feeling was when we lost by 40 to Vandy in Billy G’s first year.

As far as the Bledsoe reference, the way I remember it someone asked him if he thought he and Wall could play together and he said they would get there blank together!

Hey I appreciate that. Glad to see you posting. I think your style is also really good, you seem to get what we need to do here from my perspective. I always like the posters that sort of call it without an agenda. I like UK people that are program guys, don’t like coach guys. Nothing wrong with liking the coach but he’s secondary to the program and many miss sight of that. .
lol at the ladder story, sheesh. He wasn’t that high up. That was pretty good though I enjoyed it. Honestly thought we look back and had zero maturity. I’m still amazed we made it out without a death.
@Kentucky15 is definitely a psychopath. He’s also one of our very best people. Reminds me of G.K. Chesterton talking in Orthodoxy about how if an explanation of the world is simple and doesn’t seem to involve any paradoxes it’s obviously man-made poppycock.
