Just introducing myself to the few that may not know me.

-----------------

A few type of topics I'd be into...

...How many years has it been since one of the two major political parties didn't have a complete idiot as part of their main (presidential + vice) ticket ? I don't care if you're a Donkey or an Elephant...think about it...and be honest with yourself.

...If people at fast-food/all restaurants start making $15 an hour...then the 'American way' system is truly broken. Professional and skilled labor often makes less.... ....is working the line/fries and McD's professional or a skilled trade ? The workers often say they can't live off current minimum wage...pay for a good living for themselves and three children... Yet the never ask (or take advantage of what's already out there) to improve what they can offer to the workforce. No...they simply want more money...you know, just because....?

...I thought Harrisburg, PA (state capital for those that don't know...and there's plenty of you) had the worst possible person to (honorably) represent blacks and women as a mayor . Linda Thompson was such a joke that I think the writer of a sitcom would think her act was too unbelievable for tv. ....but then came this fiasco in Baltimore.

...If I'm parking my car in the lot of a major 'box store' and it looks like it's out on an island (aka not close to the store or the best area to park for carpooling) then I did it for a reason. ....not to have someone park next to me. I wasn't obnoxious...I didn't take two or more spaces 'to protect' my car. I simply parked far away so ignorant shoppers with undisciplined kids don't ding the doors of my vehicle. Lucky for those people I typically direct my anger toward those that abuse handicap parking. ....even when they have a tag/mirror hanger that says they have the 'right' to use the spots.

I could, and will, go on and on.....

That really hurts.

HINT: If you're going to make an attempt to be insulting I suggest you understand how to use the word, 'it's'.
If you are going to suggest a way, tell me of my misuse of the possessive pronoun "it's". How should I have used it to show the ownership of the attention *****? That may be a bit more painful to correct since it is used properly.

The possessive pronoun is not the one that uses the apostrophe.

What you wrote is "attention ***** misses it is self"

Your welcome. LOL

That was deliberate, mocking neilmont's use of it's ... that's why it is followed by the LOL.
I may be wrong. The apostrophe was definitely intended to show possession and not as a contraction. When referring to a new baby with the name of John. What is proper? It's name is John. or, Its name is John.

My computer does not correct "It's name is John". Instead of referring to a baby, you may substitute a dog if you like.

"Its name is John."

In the case of its and it's, the second is only used as the contraction of it is.

"It's name is John" would be the same as saying "It is name is John"

Your computer wouldn't correct it because it isn't misspelled, it is just misused. Your computer probably wouldn't correct misuse of your and you're or there, their, and they're either. Word would flag it for grammar, but typically you'll only get a spellcheck with internet tools.

English teaching daughter has corrected me. Its name is John, would be the appropriate spelling(if you can believe my English teacher). I paid too much for her Morgantown visit to not use it.

......all you 4-wheel drive, will never use the truck for anything outside of impressing others at the very genetically small family reunion crowd, can get rid of the 'fog lights' that are basically high beams.

So non-redneck trucks don't count?

It really doesn't become redneckish until aftermarket items are added....like fog lights mounted four feet high and directed at eye level to oncoming traffic.

..... And then there's the ridiculous mufflers put on cars that can't go 0 to 60 in under 10 minutes (almost opposite of redneck) . .....me laugh out loud every time.
