...what happened at No Hope Coliseum yesterday is a good example as to why you don't jump on a women's basketball bandwagon. The WVU fans masquerading as sports journalists couldn't stop talking about how important it was for WVU to be a top 4 seed, so that it would have two home games, and its crowd would simply overwhelm its opponents, blah, blah, blah. Wrong. WVU won't ever be a national power in women's basketball, just like no northern B1G school will be. The Women's NCAA Basketball Tournament should be renamed the "UConn Invitational" with the participants being from only the South and West, in addition to UConn. It's the same as college baseball, but without UConn.

I dont know where all these tall young ladies come from these days.....you remember Mary Ostrowski?.....she was considered big back then and there are point guards bigger now. I'm ok with the effort last night and the program has gotten better each of his 3 years so I have no complaints...and as for uconn you are absolutely correct...their 2nd 5 could beat a lot of teams.....but they are just like ahia state in football and Puke in mens BB...they dont recruit they choose

No, I don't remember Mary Ostrowski. I have watched two women's games in my entire life, and both of them were in person because my mother had hired the coach and I attended with her and my father...LOL. I attended an NCAA tournament game in Chapel Hill 25+ years ago, which was played in the arena that Jordan "built."

Perhaps he'll end up getting arrested for drunk and disorderly conduct and tossed into a prison cell with Jerry Sandusky. It couldn't happen to a bigger douche bag.
