Hey Step, here’s an article about how a NYC building collapsed because an inspector wrongly thought a column was decorative and not essential

When I was in Spain this autumn one of the people on our tour was a civil engineer. Me: “Do you know the difference between engineers and mathematicians? Engineers aren’t allowed to make mistakes.”
What's the difference between a Mechanical Engineer and a Civil Engineer?

Mechanical Engineers design weapons, Civil Engineers design targets.

I was in Home Depot and the guy helping me find something was a CE student. I am an Aero grad and said a similar antidote.
Also, ME design slow weapons. 😉

Update: I’ll be quick
Had to go to the emergency at Gesinger,
admitted on Sunday morning.

Hospital internal medician determined that I have contracted the C. diff,
Large intestine inflamed, and after 6days still have diarrhea every two hrs and only on clear liquids.

I appreciated all of the kind and funny posts, read them today…..

Thomas

“If your C. diff infection is severe, you could get severe intestinal inflammation. Your colon could also get enlarged and you could develop an extreme response to infection called sepsis. All of these problems are serious and could send you to the hospital.
If your diarrhea from C. diff is very severe, get medical help quickly. Severe diarrhea can lead to life-threatening dehydration.”

Glad you're improving . Seems like FMT is being used more often to manage C diff. We would all be glad to give you a little sheet.
C.Diff. is bad stuff though. Very common cause of hospitalization, and very dangerous.

Step, you might be a candidate for fecal transplantation. I'm certain that this board can supply an endless number of donors ;) . From what my wife repeatedly tells me, I myself am completely full of it.
