all the Fist Shaking in the world will change nothing this year. I think it wise for husker fans to reset expectations for season. It appears the defense will not be a quick turnaround hopefully it happens but it looks pretty shaky

One word is disappointment in the game but it is just one game. Feeling pretty nervous about Oregon however if we do not improve fast on defense and if langsdorf keeps calling games as he did today it could get out of hand

Hope for the best expect the worst may be good advice this year

Mostly. And yeah, Oregons pace worries me with how NU played tonight.

No. Stop lowering expectations.
Lower predictions maybe. But we need to stop doing what was done under bo and cally.

Actually, my expectations were quite high when Cally and Bo were hired, but great teams neither one produced. Riley might eclipse both and reach higher ground, but I doubt if it will be this year. My expectations for this years team is 8 wins. Any more than that, then they exceeded them.

The problem is, if we don't get over the hump this year, we have a nightmare of a schedule next year....and Riley isn't getting any younger. If he were a young coach still learning the ropes, I might have more patience. But an experience coach like him - I expect more than 8 wins at this point.
