What was supposed to be a blowout was anything but last night. HFs offense is as good as I've ever seen in 18 years covering HS football. From speed to athleticism to skill players everywhere - they are simply awesome.
Jack Sorenson of Stevenson is the real deal - fast, tough, savy, he can really do it all.
All that being said, neither of these teams will win a state title if they don't start playing defense. Maybe it was just two very explosive offenses, or not, but sheesh it was NCAA2k15 for a large portion if the night.
Should be fun to watch HF dominate and Stevenson grow. Don't be surprised by very deep playoff runs for both and possibly a title game rematch.
One last note, the best HS crowd I've witnessed in some time, both schools major props. Overflow crowd better than 4000 last night.
