Prob by more than that considering Robinson is a better or just as good of a team and they steam rolled them.

63-19 was the final score. Hibriten is loaded with speed and have some excellent athletes. I was thoroughly impressed tonight with their execution of their offense. Gee Witherspoon is worth the price of admission.
We are going to have to improve defensively between now and November for us to have a chance to go back to back
This Hibriten run sort of reminds me of the ru Lincolnton had from 09-11. Loaded with talent and has the swagger to go with it.
I think Hibriten will be hard-pressed to repeat if they can't mix in somewhat of a passing game. When/if they run into someone with an athletic line that can match the physicality and neutralize their running game they will have trouble. No different than SP. I've seen handfuls of undefeated regular seasons ended with early playoff exits because we couldn't throw a football off a barn.
I'm not worried about Hibritens offense. We have threw it decent this year.

HHS has thrown it more this year than last year combined.....LOL at anyone saying they need to throw it more.....The defense has got to get better, and over the season I think it should.....gave up 19 to NC in the first half but shut them down from about the 8 min mark of the 2Q.....they will adjust.
Yup. From 2009-2011 when Lincolnton ran the triple option we had a fullback by the name of Dee Littlejohn that was probably one of the best backs ever at Lincolnton. All our pass plays were short but when you have the athletes a 2 yard screen can turn into a 90 yard touchdown real quick.
LOL all you want. Never say never. You will eventually run up against someone who will stuff your run game and pounce you. Similar to what SP did to you in Lenoir (2) years ago.
East Duplin did it last year. We rushed for 84 yds but threw 2 long TD passes which was the difference.
no doubt. fullback is a load to handle. this really makes this Hibriten offense very hard to handle. A fullback that is a true threat and not just a decoy.
With the schedule we have to come, i dont know why we wouldnt work on passing every game. Who cares if we only beat foard 28 to 0? Pass ,,, a lot,, both qb's and 1 rb,, have the potential to throw it nicely. Just need the line to work on pass protection. I also think this year we have the guys to catch it. I am with beamer however and think defensive front is the big concern,, and maybe tackling. I just dont think mackey has found the right group for the front line.
I thought they only really threw it in the title game.
That said, nobody really stopped the run last year that much except ED and Shelby slowed it down. If Shelby or ED had a DECENT passing game Hibriten would not have the title.
Based on matchup if North Davidson's defense is better than last year and if the 2 meet, Hibriten will have it's hands full
We completed 1 big pass in the Shelby game. Hibritens passing game has always been the screen game and play action. We ran some 2 minute stuff against Ashe and it looked decent. Last year we road our defense in tight games I believe the offense will have to carry us this year.
