Especially when we just offered a guy and he committed on the spot. I was kind of worrying a little about the number of guys we were bringing in, but I think I like the plan of primarily going after blue chip prospects and then filling in with the portal or with some hardworking tough kids who might not be as highly rated.

Hopefully one of those under-the-radar gifted athletes who will blossom as a Gamecock

9 4* and 4 3* is a really good ratio for us. This class was always going to be a lower number of HS kids. We aren't losing alot of guys to graduation. See what the portal, flip szn and draft have in store later but currently in a pretty good spot despite losing out on Matthews, Walker and Watkins after being longtime leaders. Could've been 11 4* and 4 3* with those guys.
