HP Andrews has been down for the past several years. Are they for real off to a 4-1 start?

They used to be a force. SWO played them in title game and omg did they have speed. Think it was 1999
Good for Reidsville that they are 4-1. A win for rams will help their seeding
You might be talking about High Point Central. That team was epic. Their backfield won the 4x100 in track, led by Chucky Reid who was their top runningback.
There is many teams that haven’t played anyone yet. So let’s give HP Andrews a break…. After they play Reidsville that is
High Point Andrews is 3-1....................they lost to Thomasville 38-0..and they won 3 games.... 13-0 over Greensboro Smith....34-0 over High Point Central and 36-15 over Winston Salem Parkland......ALL 3 of those teams are a combined 0-9............calpreps.com has Andrews ranked 57th out of 101 2A teams.....................Reidsville will be a 30 point plus favorite in this one....If the Rams play like they did Friday nite in the win over Eastern Alamance...they should roll......of course should and did are 2 different things..............
The omnipotent Maxpreps had them beating Parkland twice on the same night by the same score.

Andrews probably is a little better than previous few years. But still not near where they used to be.
It should be a running clock. However, Andrews did avoid a running clock last season.
Andrews and HP Central use to run very good programs, but for the past several years they have been down. What happen? The programs have hit rock bottom.
High Point Andrews won the State 2AA Title 2013. The beat Monroe
We played HP Andrews one year in the playoffs and they shut us out at home 10-0. We also played HPC in the 3A playoffs in a bar burner. It was like no defense was played. FH won by going for two in the last play of the game in OT. Score was like 45-44. Definitely two great programs.
Thomasville had the JV QB in the game and fumbled late in the game to give Andrews 2 points on a safety. Andrews QB and RB are good athletes. THS could have beat them worse.Great post. All knowing Maxpreps has Thomasville score as 38-2…

The good thing is they have to be better than Rockingham County
MaxPreps says they have 128 players on the roster. They should be able to wear the Rams down in the forth quarter.
They have won three times as many games as all of Monroe's opponents.
