Yes they did. Did you notice that the POTUS just got impeached by the House that you controlled prior to 2018? oops. Maybe you'll lose everything in 2020.
I won't lose anything in 2020.

Repubs love to make up culture wars like War on Christmas

Regardless of the numerous examples, that hasn’t stopped liberals this week from suggesting that the “War on Christmas” is a conjured-up tale, strewn like popcorn on a yarn that adorns a festive tree.

However, nothing could be further from the truth.

In the Soviet Union, numerous times between 1917 and 1991 leaders banned Christmas celebrations to comply with their socialist, atheist rule. In the 1920s, Soviet groups such as The League of Militant Atheists encouraged schoolchildren to campaign against Christmas at school. In her book, “Religious Policy in the Soviet Union,” author Sabrina Petra Ramet wrote that atheist leaders enlisted children to protest the Christmas tree and encouraged children to actually spit on the crucifix, or cross, the symbol of Christ’s birth.

The hatred for Christmas in the former USSR became even more extreme during the leftist, Stalinist era between 1929 and 1939.

In his book, “Christmas at the Movies: Images of Christmas in American, British and European Cinema,” Mark Connelly wrote, “...suffice it to say that there were, at least officially, no Christmas celebrations in the atheist socialist state after its foundation in 1917.” It was really only after a Republican — President Ronald Reagan — urged leaders to tear down the wall, did Christmas return to the former Soviet Union.

However, the war on Christmas didn’t just occur in the Soviet Union.

It happened in socialist, atheist France during the French Revolution in the late 1700s.

French atheist rulers prohibited Christmas religious services and the government replaced the country’s legendary annual holiday goodie — the three kings cake — by renaming it the “equality cake.” (Hmm, “equality cake“ has a familiar leftist ring, doesn’t it?)

In Nazi Germany, Christianity as a whole was attacked and named an enemy of the totalitarian state, as leaders there didn’t anyone bowing to a higher authority than the government. Under Nazi rule, Christmas celebrations were cancelled and worse, Christmas songs were corrupted with their lyrics replaced with racist lyrics to serve the propagandist’s Nazi agenda of hate.

Yes, the war on Christmas has been around for a century and some elements of it date as far back as the 1640s when the Puritans and Anglicans fought over what should be appropriate symbols of the season.

Liberals today are more likely object even to the messengers who pointed out the modern-day war on Christmas in — figures such as former FOX News host Bill O’Reilly and President Donald Trump.

Regardless when it began or who brought it to light once again the war on Christmas exists. Anyone who tells you differently is pushing the very propaganda that was perpetrated against the French, German and Soviet people in their darkest eras and that deserves a huge, “Bah humbug!”

You got banned racist. It's not my fault that you called someone the n word and got banned.
That's what I heard happened as well. I couldn't find the post, but I was told it was pretty bad. Can't confirm if true or not, but that's what one of the posters had told me via FB messenger. I had inquired when CR89 first indicated he was banned and he had wrote he had no idea why he was banned.

I haven't posted over there in weeks, so I didn't look very hard for the post. Like I said, you posted on the Woodshed about being banned and not knowing why, so I simply asked somebody for you. Whether they're being honest or not, I haven't a clue. To be honest, I really don't give much of a ****, as I likely don't post much anymore.

The most entertaining part of yesterday.......Nancy in the black dress AND the best of all.......her reciting the Pledge of Allegiance.

Well, Trump thought she was a very tough woman and leader in 2008, except for the fact that she wasn't strong in pursuing impeachment of President Bush.....maybe she's learned how to be strong now? [roll]

Your messages are no longer there because you got banned dumb ***. It's not my fault that you are go around saying the n word.

LOL, my messages don't magically disappear. Technically, I'm not banned, they did something to remove my posting privileges. I can still go over there and see posts, not that I will, in fact, I won't. That place is bat-**** crazy with 95% of the posters being idiot trumpers with an IQ below room temperature.

From someone with lots of experience being banned, I think when you're only removed from being able to post, your history of posts remain, but when you're totally removed (which I believe can happen) then there's no trace of you whatsoever.

You are banned.

No, when you are banned, you cannot see the site and you get see a message on the screen, plainly saying, "You have been banned for the following reasons: rules violations."

I can see the site, my old posts are still there and I see the message "You have insufficient privileges to post here."

Man, you guys seem really concerned about what I can and cannot do on another site.

I made a wager with one of their "most precious" posters and he lost, a one-year self ban and $100. He did honor the self-ban but never paid the $100. I'm guessing my privileges being revoked were "coincidentally" just before the return of the other poster.
