A subpoena to provide her emails.

Hillary Clinton scrubbed her private email server clean - after she was served a subpoena to hand over her emails to the State Department.
The Politico reported:

Hillary Clinton wiped "clean" the private server housing emails from her tenure as secretary of state, the chairman of the House committee investigating the 2012 terrorist attacks in Benghazi said Friday.

"While it is not clear precisely when Secretary Clinton decided to permanently delete all emails from her server, it appears she made the decision after October 28, 2014, when the Department of State for the first time asked the Secretary to return her public record to the Department," Rep. Trey Gowdy (R-S.C.), chairman of the Select Committee on Benghazi, said in a statement.

Clinton was under a subpoena order from the panel for all documents related to the 2012 attacks on the American compound there. But David Kendall, an attorney for Clinton, said the 900 pages of emails previously provided to the panel cover its request.

Kendall also informed the committee that Clinton's emails from her time at the State Department have been permanently erased.

Gowdy said that Clinton's response to the subpoena means he and Speaker John Boehner (R-Ohio) will now contemplate new legal actions against Clinton.

What's amazing is that she pulls this stunt and sheep like you don't care. Those emails are not hers, they are ours. We decide which are business and which personal, not her.

silly theories aside, . . .

if Bush had pulled a stunt like this, you would be incensed--and rightfully so.

Sorry, but again I think it takes a lot of credulity to defend the Clintons on this one. Legality, illegality is not something I would know anything about. But this just speaks volumes about her judgement and self-awareness. She is more like Nixon than any other plausible candidate in the field. Is this really what liberals want? I sure as hell don't.

His comments are absurd for as much as he slams partisanship.

I don't think a I can name a single poster here whose nose is up the *** of a single political party than this moron's nose is.

If you follow him over the years much of what he posts is for attention only, which he so desires. Other is just his pure bigotry.

He is the biggest hypocrite on this board by far. That says quite a bit with WVBru also trolling here.

Whoa! Hold on there!

If you are saying he is a bigger hypocrite and homer than Keyseer then I have to disagree. I honestly believe that guy would kill someone if Obama asked him to. It's actually a little creepy how behaves towards Obama.

Back to Hillary

They have the emails on the server - they don't. They have 'em - they don't. What the *** do they have or don't have. Is the heretofore great Gowdy going to bring charges or not? He can be very hard on exam and cross. Why is he sitting on his *** and not bringing charges if they can prove she destroyed federal government property? It makes the system look pathetically weak and unable to protect us if all of these accusation are allowed to die on the vine without any kind of action.

If our government is as weak as what is being portrayed, we should do away with our constitution and have a country in which it is every man for himself. Our pretense that we are a nation of laws is a farce. Our own personal protection is what we can provide for ourselves. We need to extend the current law proposed in some states and allow every individual to the right to carry and protect himself and his family and property to the best of his individual ability. Anarchy is the rule of the day.
