Wow. Congrats to the team and coaching staff. Backs against the wall and come through. Impressive.

A whisker from 6-3 and I can’t help but think how they would be if K. Williams didn’t have the blown ACL in Q1 of Game #1

Take the win (and playoffs) anyway you can get it.

You never know what opportunities the playoffs might present. I don't think they will see many teams as tough as they did throughout the year.

Agreed.

PJJP-I hate to say I told you so.....
But back in July I think I may have called this.
Nice work JCA.
Does this win bring the original JCHILLTOPPERS out to play?

Yeah, it's inspirational...I've Ben lurking as best I could. What's funny is i thought i was back, then shot hit the fa for me.

As a loud supporter of our teams though, I feel somewhat obliged to be here now and root.

I wanted to say that Jaws did an excellent job at play calling. Kept the”Dons” off balance by Running power on both sides. Only thing I’m hoping for next game is that we try hurry up offense every now and then.

Indeed he did and the boys delivered!

With several linemen going two-ways, or part of a rotation, I do not believe that a hurry up offense would benefit the Hilltoppers.

IMO the much beaten-up argument of the QB back and forth between plays misses that Jaws is working the clock and regularly sends in the play only after the ball is officially placed and the 40 second play-clock has been started.

I will likely be corrected for the next statement, but I do not recall any delay of game penalties because the plays did not get in.

Though some/many will disagree, his apparent strategy has a purpose: Limit the number of total plays run within a game and ensure his horses are as fresh as possible. Unfortunately, the days of two-platoon Hilltopper football is a fond memory, and no longer a real expectation, so with that goes the advantage of wearing down opponents.

Let’s all in Hilltopper Nation hope for a long and rewarding playoff run!

Great win for JC, I was dead wrong on this one. This however is not a good sign for ND.
