Can tell you now, while the teams in the DSR this week wont be of the more difficult to chose, the order will be...rankings, more than they have been in a few years, will require a more metaphysical analysis...some pragmatics are lacking.

No clear cut #1. IMO, three could lay claim to the top spot. There are many good 1-loss teams. How do they fall into place? A number of good teams have to be excluded.

In my rankings, the game result that confounds me the most is WV over GBN. I suspect GBN is the better team, but you have value head-to-head results over all else.

While you knuckleheads froth over all these track meets, I am picturing an 8A quarterfinal based on Edgy's Week 4 rankings.

Top bracket has
1 Loyola vs 8 GN with winner playing winner of 5 BR at 4 Palatine

Bottom bracket has
2 GW vs 7 NV with winner playing winner of rematch of 3 Homer Flosswood vs 6 LWE

Not taking anything away from MC, PR or ESL but that would be the ultimate Battle Royale. GW/NV would be the only game with an O/U below 65 points. Perfect for all you sugar fiends.

Of course GN will likely fall to 7A as they are the border 7A/8A team but a girl can dream.

I'm figuring this all out now. Have to have Nequa highest rated DVC team and in. HF makes a leap.

H-F made the biggest leap for me. I didn't even have them ranked in the first DSR. SoS question was the reason.

LA going on the road on a Friday with a QB making his 3rd Varsity start is pretty good. Graned their Defense is still a big ? but they did put up 35 pts and a lot of O against an MC D. Will be interesting to see what MC does going forward on the QB front. Thomas is a great weapon but pulling him into QB allows him to be isolated. Gonna have to get more out of Kennedy and other RBs

Agreed. Score-wise, I think LA did just like most folks thought they would against MC. I don't think too many were predicting a blowout. Over-under might have been a little higher than expected, but the spread was either spot on or within a few pts of what many were predicting. Kudos to Wild Mustang for correctly predicting the outcome and score.
