Dude birds are freaking hilarious. Me and my buddy used to set on a balcony drinking beer in Pigeon Forge and watch ducks. These 3 males came up on this duck couple and the three males took turns fighting the male while the 3rd one was banging his female mate. Also watched a crane hunt down a baby goose one time on the same balcony. Anyway, I could definitely see doing that when I was old..

No ****. Intense stuff for sure.

D&D/Magic - Seems dorky AF

Cosplay - I couldn't imagine playing Halloween in all my spare time.

Cosplay- That is so crazy expensive. I wouldn't knock a guy for owning a $2,000 Dark Knight batsuit because I'd love to mess around in that suit on random occasions but those guys usually don't have a lot of other things going on so they invest in that. There's some Power Rangers super dorks that have multiple suits/helmets that's like $1,500 a pop.

As for magic cards, that's pretty high on the list of too dorky. There was a guy during my freshmen year of college that played magic cards in the cafeteria but I was told he didn't even go to school there.

Pet shows. People can spend tens of thousands on them and travel all over just to have their pet "judged".

Collecting most anything (sports cards, comic books, figurines, toys). Look at all this crap that I have in boxes or cluttering up shelves.

Hahahaha. Man, I agree. I can judge my dog (Creature) all the time from the comfort of my home. Damn dog was supposed to guard the house, but he's promoted himself to a permanent couch warmer.

My aunt has 3 corgis that she does agility trials with. She does this every freaking weekend with all of her fat, single friends and posts about it on Facebook non-stop. My uncle sits at home while she is out and about at these things every weekend....I hope he's getting some on the side on weekends.

My wife and I are heavily involved with 1860's Western re-enactments. It's a lot of fun, theatrical, travel to cool places and have met some fantastic people. And the dress is way more stylish and comfortable than Civil War reenactments. Here's a picture of us from 2013 at the Roy Rogers Memorial Hoe Down.

My wife's pistol is from her great-great-great grandfather who was a sheriff in Round Rock, Texas from 1873-1888.

Uh, no.

If you were a true westerns fan of the 1800's, you should know that Matthew Brady didn't even start filming thing the things until at least 1870.

Fail.

It's not Western movies, it's more about Wild West culture. And, most events don't spend a lot of time and energy on trying to exactly replicate the historical happenings that you see in a Civil War re-enactment. A little more freewheeling party atmosphere. You'll find virtually no one sleeping on a bedroll.....RVs or hotels for most of us.

Are corgis even that agile? The have a low center of gravity, but they never struck me as super agile. Kinda built goofy.

No whorehouse re-enactment, no care.

Model building. Ships planes whatever. Painstaking detail. You get to see the finished product. That I get but different strokes

My dad does this thing called rendezvous, which by my understanding is sort of like reenacting without the reenactment. So they just kind of sit around and like, cook and talk like they were in the 18th or 19th century. They can't bring stuff that was invented before like 1900.

I would question him about it, but there are family assets I hold too dearly.

The pageant people need help. Nothing says mom than the woman making her 8yr old daughter dress up like Marilyn Monroe because she was a "sex symbol" it's porn for pedophiles. I love how they live vicariously through their kids. In honor of great moments in beauty pageants I'll leave you with this gem from bad grandpa, it's worth the 6 mins:
