Everyone is missing one of the funniest non-PSU trolls, Lester Diamond

He was an Indiana fan who spun up hilarious posts about how unstoppable his Hoosiers would be - causing our legion of Buckeye lurkers to go insane since they took him seriously.

I hope he’s still out there and getting to enjoy the good times with Cignetti

And his "fractional" jet ownership if I remember correctly. I think someone posted an aerial shot of where he lived and it wasn't all that. But, I am old so my memory isn't what it once was.
I believe it went he was telling us all how wealthy he was (which he had done for years) with private jets, yachts and multiple vacation homes and someone took it on themselves and found him on twitter with the same handle C66... Only he has his real name with it ... They googled his name and found his address and Google Earth the house which was a run down home I think a rancher with something like a Ford Taurus in the driveway and post pics of his house and name .... The laughter that ensued and he deleted his account off all social media ... Was absolutely hilarious

What a blast from the past. Delusional performance posting, always an A+ read.

About 90% sure one of the most infamous posters - I think it was bushwood - was my freshman roommate in Hamilton. If he was Erie CP and played golf at Kahkwa, yeah.

Back when JVP was the AD and thought it was a good idea to mix the golfers in w/ the football players thinking they would be a good influence on the team. Yeah...no.

The best Marsh Creek related gag was during the height of his Michigan hate. I believe Dave Parry was the head of Big10 officials and reportedly his office was a Michigan shrine. Anyway, someone went on Parry’s wiki page and edited it so that the “personal” section included a story of a maniacal fan named Marsh Creek Eagle who was so upset at the Big 10 refs and Parry that he drove his car through the wall of Parry’s office. I don’t know if it was a UM fan or one of us, but that was classic

Cheese Lion

don't know that one, Steve

Plotit days not sure he ever made it to Blue White,. he had cancer and would report on his progress.........

He did make it over to BWI....RIP

Just a little clarification, assuming that I remember things correctly.

Cheese Lion was on the Plotit board, and joined the migration to BWI when I moved the board in 2001.

I'm pretty sure he was in Wisconsin, though if not, it was somewhere in the midwest.

My memory is that his health issues were heart related. He did post about his issues, his recovery, etc. There was one, possibly two (I'm not certain) timeframes where he was off the board for some interval due to surgery.

Alas, at some point after he hadn't posted for quite some time, somebody on the board mentioned that they hadn't seen anything from him in quite some time. The moderators and I did put some effort into trying to track down Cheese/his family, to see if we could learn what happened to him. Unfortunately, we were unsuccessful.

Cheese Lion was always positive about PSU. No matter the situation, he'd always see things from the perspective of how he expected the team, or the coaches, to respond to this or that adversity, and beat whatever team was next on the schedule.

Cheese also was somewhat forthcoming about his family. At this point, I don't recall the specifics, but I think (not certain) that he had one or two daughters.

Cheese was one of the reasons why, after many years of running the board, I started to occasionally remind folks to leave instructions for their spouse or for their kids, in terms of how to log on to the board, and for them to post something to let us know about the loss of a member of our board community. I haven't mentioned that in some time, but I do encourage many of you to include a set of instructions for that in the paperwork/files you prepare for your family in case something happens to you.

I remember that night they caught the Marathon Bomber. He was spot on. I was fixated for hours as I was "working"

Ok. I’ll add the obligatory Marsh Creek/Marsh Creek Eagle

I like to do the California comparison.

Marsh Creek was the best poster in history, kind of like 1965 California was the drop dead best place on the Planet.

When he changed his Board name to Marsh Creek Eagle, he did a complete 180 and went from best poster ever to a total train wreck. Kind of like 1965 California took a 180 and went from the drop dead best place on the planet to what it is now. A complete and total dumpster fire.

i’ll try to remember him as poster “Marsh Creek“ as I’ll try to remember California as it was in 1965. Both the poster “Marsh Creek” and “1965 California“ were awesome.
You nailed that one, that was about the time the board split into Fire Paterno and All is Well, I joined the Fire Joe group but eventually came to believe he would never leave and would just enjoy games for what they were. He was epic before the switch of names, then went off the deep end and disappeared.

Do we put C66 in the group? :ROFLMAO: :ROFLMAO: I was on here the night he was outed and have never LMAO when all that went down. The best was Tom Mac's response when he said something along the lines of " I didn't expect or see this coming.... that's for sure"
CR66.....the filthy rich man with the window air conditioner

I miss Count Von Count. I'm sure he's "enjoying" Michigan State's season

UncleLar is the real deal. He and I have never officially met, but he has mistaken my wife for being single on a few occasions.

Bless his heart. ;)

Was not a Sten fan at all. What ever happened to Pelly? He used to do some pretty tricked out tailgates.

MCE and the arguments about Henne and JoePa were wild at the end... He basically became unhinged.
very very unhinged. It started with the '99 Minny game and really got bad with the Daryl Clark QB stuff and then finally off the deep end in 2011.
I think he and Howard Stern were considered God like, over on Lasch Out.
