...by Hunter and the Jailhawks. Now 42 Wins and 22 Losses in two seasons which both began ranked #1...While also being exposed as the most ugly fan base in America, and still living down Self's reputation for recruiting known women assaulters, violent predators and with sanctions for lying and cheating still emitting a foul odor around the program.

Anyone miss the days of constant visits by KneePads and Noone'sBaby? No, me neither.

If -- and not taking anything for granted -- Kentucky can take care of business on Senior Night against LSU the Cats will have gained a game for the year in the all-time wins column heading into the last weekend.

That's not bad considering Kansas was returning the pre-season player of the year, several other players and had a head start in the portal while Kentucky was changing coaches and starting with zero players in late April, while facing an historically tough conference schedule.

I believe Kansas has some issues with this roster. Led by Dickinson, this is just a bad combination of players.
I do not like him, but until proven otherwise, Self is the best coach in this game. This will be the first season in his 22 at Kansas that they are not a 4 seed or higher in the NCAA tournament.

I think you are on the right path. I watched HD's body language last night and he was constantly in other players faces. Team chemistry ain't great.
They are still a decent team. They have quick athletic players. Plus Houston is tough!!

Houston is tough. I'm not sure they shoot well enough to win the title but if they may be good enough overall. If we can't, I'd like to see them win.

and Kansas could potentially be a very tough 6 or 7 seed in someone’s bracket.

I think a huge part of this is the conference got a lot better, just like the SEC. The portal and NIL makes it very hard for any team to keep players for multiple years. In the past KU had players stay 4 yrs on the reg, or 12 in the case of Ellis. Not so easy to do that anymore, Basically impossible.

It's almost like there is favoritism built into the pre-season ranking system. Who would have thought.

I’m not going to throw stones we’re 19-10 and 8-8 in the SEC and we’re supposed to be UK! I love Pope but we have another 10 loss coach on our hands!

Couldn't happen to a better fanbase.

Lol. Cal lost 10 or more 6 times n 15 seasons. Tubby 5 of 10. Joe B 4 of 13. G 2 of 2.

You act like this is new. Other than Pitino, and even he lost 14 his first year, it happens here sometimes. I'd argue Popes first season is closer to Pitinos than we would care to admit. He had no team when hired.

It's Pitino for legacy and it's Hurley for the here-and-now.. and Self ins't close to either of them IMO.
