Bishop is a difficult football job as so many of the students never played any organized football before the 9th grade. Hard to be competitive when starting with the basics at that age. He did a great job at BM and best wishes to him.
100%. I played against them in that late 00's run they had where they were really good, and they were very, very physical and hard to figure out. That single wing they had then was well run. If they had been a little smaller in ADM's they woulda been a force in small 1A both years.
When they are good they are really, really tough to figure and stop. But when they are bad they can be the absolute pits. BM lives and breathes by who they can get there. If the new guy can keep those kids around that he helped buy in they should be fine ( but maybe not as well coached.) Their best bet is probably someone on the staff, if not and they go outside who knows. Jones is retired and wouldn't want to come back. Gonna be a big hire for whoever they get.
This makes the conference wide open until I'm proved different. I do think South Stokes may have a shot though, if their line can get more physical and that RB stays around and they get some bball players out for the skill spots, there's no reason why they can't be a serious contender.
