From a show watcher exclusively, the Dire Wolves haven't really been a major part of this, at least I can't think of anything major anyway. I hear all the fanboys talk about them by name and I honestly have no idea what dog is with who.

Well hell Coop, there are 2 strong female leads there now, they're really the ones calling the shots, he is just an instrument now. I mean, it's like the dude has already fought back the White Walker army, he is a nut less ***** now.

Now that I think about it, the only male lead acting like a male lead is Tyrion, Ramsey, and the Ice King. Everyone else is running around ball less (cockles sin Theon's case) and just taking direction from some emotionally scarred woman. Even Brienne is about to start lording over the big red wildling. Sad state of affairs.
