I hate to break it to you, but there's holding on every play in a football game...even by Nebraska. They obviously don't all get called.

True, and I agree with you. The problem coaches and fans have is when a linebacker is in the hole to make a play and is grabbed and has his body turned. Not using it as an excuse but good officials will make that call on Colorado's first TD. That is not a hard call to make. In my opinion the problem resides with the fact that officiating for the most part is just bad for both sides.

Ill trade you the holding calls missed on both sides with the pass interface calls that were missed on Nebraska three times with the biggest being the absolute mugging on Viska late in the end zone that even the really great guys from Nebraska sitting next to me were in shock over that it wasn't called. Refs never ever lose a game for a team.

It really is just coach speak to say that officials don't cost teams games. Coaches/people don't want to make excuses when they lose because it looks like sour grapes. When in reality every missed opportunity costs teams games, whether it be a fumble, dropped pass, dropped interception and yes even poor calls or no calls by the officiating crew. It is just the nature of the game, officiating is a judgement call and sometimes they make the wrong call and that does effect the game whether people like it or not. If their calls did not effect the game then you would not need officials.

What is this "Holding" you speak of? I'm unfamiliar with this term.

How many holds were called on us? And don’t tell me we do not hold I saw at least the same amount that we got away with,and as bad as we were ,may of been many many many more.

Colorado went about 89 yards in 2:23--with a back-up QB--to win the game. Colorado converted a few 2nd and 3rd down plays where they needed more than 10 yards. Missouri's fault for it getting to that point.

Missouri lost the game. Blaming officials for a loss is, well, for losers.
